What Are Shortfill E-Liquids?
Shortfills were introduced after TPD regulations limited nicotine-containing e-liquids to 10ml bottles. To offer better value, manufacturers now produce larger bottles filled slightly short of the top, leaving room for a nic shot. This allows you to create 3mg or lower nicotine strengths while enjoying bigger bottles and more flavour options.

VG/PG Ratios in Shortfills
Most shortfills use a high VG blend such as 70VG/30PG, giving you bigger clouds and smoother DTL performance. These are ideal for sub-ohm tanks, vape mods and low-resistance coils.
However, some manufacturers also produce 50/50 shortfills designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. These thinner blends work well in pod kits and starter kits, offering stronger flavour and a tighter draw. If you’re using a pod kit, look for 50/50 shortfills or choose nic salts or 10ml freebase e-liquids for best results.
