VOOPOO PnP TM2 Coil 0.8 Ohm: The Mesh MTL Coil Built for the PnP MTL Pod
The VOOPOO PnP TM2 coil is a 0.8Ω mesh coil for mouth-to-lung vaping, sold five to a pack. VOOPOO developed it alongside the PnP-TR1 to give the V.Suit and its PnP MTL Pod a better MTL flavour, and it rates the TM2 at 12–18W – the same figure engraved on the side of every coil.
Being a standard push-fit PnP coil, the TM2 isn’t locked to one device. It goes into the pods of the Drag H40, Drag S and Drag X as well, which makes it a handy choice if you run nic salts in more than one VOOPOO kit. PnP TM2 Specification
Every figure here comes from VOOPOO, which lists the TM2 on its V.Suit, Drag H40, Drag S and Drag X coil tables. You may see a higher top wattage quoted elsewhere; VOOPOO’s own figure stops at 18W.

Which Pods and Devices Take the PnP TM2?
VOOPOO lists the TM2 for the V.Suit, Drag H40, Drag S and Drag X, and says the PnP Pod II accepts every PnP coil.
The TM2 is most at home in the VOOPOO PnP MTL Pod, the pod VOOPOO built around the TM2 and TR1 for the V.Suit, Drag X and Drag S. It also appears on VOOPOO’s coil table for the VOOPOO Drag H40 PnP 2 Vape Kit – whose 40W is far more than the TM2 needs – and seats in the H40’s PnP Pod 2, which VOOPOO says takes every PnP coil. On an original Drag S or Drag X, the standard VOOPOO PnP Pod takes it as well.
VOOPOO describes the Vinci and Vinci R as compatible with all PnP coils, so the TM2 fits the Vinci replacement pods too, although it isn’t one of the coils VOOPOO names on its Vinci pages. The Argus GT mod also accepts all PnP coils.
Will not fit: PnP X cartridges and PnP X devices such as the Drag S2 and Drag X2, which run a separate coil system, or TPP pods. Argus cartridge pods don’t take PnP coils either – of the Argus range, only the Argus GT mod does.
How to Fit and Prime a PnP TM2 Coil
- Lift the pod off the device and pull the old coil straight out of the base.
- Drip two or three drops of e-liquid onto the cotton showing through the side holes of the new TM2.
- Push the coil in until it seats. PnP coils have no thread, so there’s nothing to screw.
- Fill the pod, close it and leave it three to five minutes – the wait VOOPOO gives on its V.Suit page for this pod.
- Start at 12–13W for the first few puffs, then work up to taste.
How Long Does a PnP TM2 Coil Last?
VOOPOO doesn’t publish a lifespan for the TM2. At MTL power a mesh coil like this works gently, and our customers typically get one to two weeks from each one, so a pack of five covers a month or more. Very sweet liquids and running flat out at 18W bring that forward. Change it when the flavour turns flat or a dry, harsh note appears that a refill doesn’t cure.
TM2 Coil Troubleshooting

Best E-Liquids for the PnP TM2
As an MTL coil, the TM2 suits nic salts at 10mg or 20mg and 50/50 freebase from our 10ml e-liquids. VOOPOO doesn’t give a VG ratio for it; in our experience 50/50 wicks reliably across 12–18W, while thick 70/30 shortfills are better left to sub-ohm coils. Not sure which strength to buy?
