VOOPOO PnP MTL Pod: For PnP Coils of 0.3 Ohm and Above
The VOOPOO PnP MTL pod is the mouth-to-lung pod for the VOOPOO V.Suit, Drag X and Drag S, sold here as a single without a coil. VOOPOO built it around two coils, the PnP TR1 and the PnP TM2, and says it also takes any PnP coil of 0.3Ω and above.
That limit matters. It is not a full-range PnP pod: the 0.2Ω and 0.15Ω coils such as the VM5, VM6, TW20 and TW15 are excluded. Stay at 0.3Ω or higher and you have plenty of choice, from a tight 1.2Ω to a looser half-DL mesh.

Which Devices Does the PnP MTL Pod Fit?
VOOPOO says the PnP MTL Pod matches the VOOPOO V.Suit, Drag X and Drag S.
VOOPOO names three devices for this pod: the V.Suit, the Drag X and the Drag S. On the Drag X or Drag S it’s the tighter alternative to the standard PnP Pod, and it’s the pod to choose if you vape nic salts. Pair it with the PnP TR1 coil or PnP TM2 coil.
Will not fit: PnP coils below 0.3Ω – the VM5, VM6, TW20 and TW15 – and PnP X coils, which use a different system.
Fitting a Coil and Filling the PnP MTL Pod
- Take the pod off the device.
- Push a PnP coil of 0.3Ω or above into the pod. PnP coils push in and pull out, with no threads.
- Fill through the pod’s refill port, following your device’s manual – VOOPOO’s pod listing doesn’t describe it – and stop short of the top.
- Refit the pod on the device.
- Leave a fresh coil a few minutes to soak before the first puff, and start at the low end of its wattage.
How Long Does a Pod Last?
VOOPOO doesn’t publish a lifespan for this pod. Since the coil is the part that wears, one pod usually lasts for months; the coil is what you change. On the TR1 at MTL wattage, our customers typically see a week or more per coil. Replace the pod if it cracks or starts to leak from the body.
PnP MTL Pod Troubleshooting
