VOOPOO PnP VM1 Coil 0.3 Ohm: The Everyday Lung-Hit Mesh Coil
The VOOPOO PnP VM1 coil is a 0.3Ω single-mesh coil for direct-to-lung vaping at 32–40W, five to a box. VOOPOO packs it as a kit coil with the Drag S, Drag X and the Vinci, which is why so many PnP owners already know it.
It sits in the middle of the PnP range: open and cloudy, but far less thirsty than the 0.2Ω and 0.15Ω coils. Here’s the spec, every pod in our range that takes it, and how it stacks up against the VM3 and VM4.

Which Pods and Devices Take the VM1?
VOOPOO’s applicable-products list for the VM1 names the Vinci, Vinci R, Vinci X, Drag S and Drag X; it’s also on the Drag H40, Argus GT and V.Suit coil tables.
The VM1 came in the box with the Drag S, Drag X, Vinci and Vinci R, so it’s the like-for-like coil for the VOOPOO PnP Pod and the Vinci replacement pods. It’s also on VOOPOO’s list for the VOOPOO Drag H40 PnP 2 Vape Kit, where it goes into the PnP Pod 2 – just note that 32–40W uses the whole of the H40’s power range.
At 0.3Ω, the VM1 is also the loosest coil the PnP MTL Pod accepts, which VOOPOO confirms on its V.Suit coil table. The Argus GT takes it too.
Will not fit: the Vinci Air, whose minimum is 0.45Ω, or any PnP X device or cartridge. It isn’t a TPP coil either.
How to Fit and Prime a PnP VM1 Coil
- Take the pod off and remove the old coil by pulling it straight down.
- Saturate the new VM1: four or five drops through the top opening, a couple more on each side port. Mesh coils have a lot of cotton to wet.
- Push the coil into the pod until it’s flush.
- Fill, close and give it five minutes to soak.
- Fire at 32W for the first pod, then go up if you want more.
How Long Does a PnP VM1 Coil Last?
VOOPOO doesn’t quote one. A DL coil at 32–40W burns through liquid faster than an MTL coil, and our VM1 customers generally get around a week per coil on fruity shortfills – less on heavy desserts, more on clear or menthol flavours. Replace it when the vapour thins out or the taste goes dull and papery.
VM1 Troubleshooting

| Spitting or popping | Liquid too thin, or airflow too tight for a DL coil. Use a higher-VG liquid and open the airflow. |
| Dry hit after a long session | The wick can’t keep up at 40W. Drop to 34W or pause between draws. |
| Coil burnt out in days | Very sweet liquid, or the coil wasn’t primed. Prime fully and lower the wattage. |

Best E-Liquids for the PnP VM1
VOOPOO recommends 10mg nicotine or lower for the VM1. In practice that means 3mg or 6mg freebase: a shortfill at 70/30 or 60/40 wicks well at 32–40W. Keep 20mg nic salts for MTL coils; at this power they deliver far too much nicotine per puff.
