Description
OXVA XLIM EZ Pods: Snap-Top Refills for Every XLIM
The OXVA XLIM EZ pod is the easiest XLIM cartridge to live with. Flip open the red port on top, fill it, press it shut – no fiddly plug and no need to take the pod out of your device. It comes three to a pack with the mesh coil built in, in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω, so every fresh pod is a fresh coil as well.
EZ pods are fully interchangeable with the XLIM V3 pods and XLIM V2 pods, and they fit every XLIM device we sell. So if you own an XLIM, these will fit. The only real decisions are which resistance to pick and, if you want the 0.4Ω, whether your device has the power to run it. Both are answered below.

Which XLIM EZ Resistance Should You Choose?
Each EZ resistance is colour-coded on the base of the pod and has its own wattage window. Keeping the pod inside that window is the biggest single thing you can do for flavour and pod life. Most XLIM devices read the pod and set a wattage when you click it in, and you can fine-tune from there.
| Resistance | Wattage | Draw | Best with |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.4Ω (red base) | 26–30W | RDL (restricted lung) | More vapour: 50/50 freebase at 3–6mg, or 10mg nic salts |
| 0.6Ω (black base) | 20–25W | RDL or loose MTL | Our pick for nic salts – 10mg or 20mg, the fullest flavour |
| 0.8Ω (orange base) | 12–16W | MTL | Nic salts and 50/50 freebase, slightly cooler and tighter |
| 1.2Ω (green base) | 10–12W | Tight MTL | 20mg nic salts, the most cigarette-like draw, longest pod life |

Which Devices Do XLIM EZ Pods Fit?
OXVA lists the EZ for the XLIM Pro 2, XLIM Pro, XLIM Classic Edition, XLIM SQ Pro, XLIM GO, XLIM SE 2, XLIM SE and the original XLIM Pod, and the newer XLIM models use the same pod slot.
If you are choosing a device to go with these pods, the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 Pod Kit and the touchscreen OXVA XLIM 3 Ultra Pod Kit both run all four EZ resistances, from the 0.4Ω to the 1.2Ω, and read the pod as you click it in so the wattage is set for you. The OXVA XLIM SQ Pro 2 Pod Kit puts the same pod slot in a squarer, pocket-friendly body with up to 30W – enough for the 0.4Ω. The OXVA XLIM GO 2 Pod Kit also reaches 30W, so it takes every EZ pod too, and the OXVA XLIM GO Lite Vape Pod Kit is the budget way into the XLIM pod system.
Own the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA Vape Kit? EZ pods fit and fire in it, but the DNA chip’s Anti-Burn and Flavour Replay features only work with the XLIM stainless steel pods. Older XLIMs – the Pro 2, Pro, SQ Pro, SE 2, SE, SQ, GO and Classic – take EZ pods as well, with the 0.4Ω limited to the models that reach 26–30W.
Will not fit: the XLIM C, which uses its own coil-and-pod system, or any NeXlim device. NeXlim pods and XLIM pods are not interchangeable. The 0.4Ω EZ also will not run on the lower-powered XLIM SE, XLIM SQ or original XLIM Pod, because it needs 26–30W.
How to Fill and Prime an XLIM EZ Pod
- Flip up the red silicone port on top of the pod. You can fill it with the pod in the device or out of it.
- Rest the bottle nozzle in the port and fill slowly, stopping just short of the top so there is a small air gap.
- Press the port down until it sits flush – you will feel it seat. A port that is only half closed is the most common cause of a leaking EZ pod.
- On a brand new pod, wait five minutes before the first puff so the cotton around the mesh soaks right through.
- Take a few gentle puffs at the low end of the wattage range, then turn it up to taste.

How Long Does a Pod Last?
OXVA rates the EZ at up to around 50ml of e-liquid per pod on the 0.6Ω, and for most of our customers that works out at about a week of everyday vaping. Resistance moves that number: the 1.2Ω runs coolest and lasts longest, while the 0.4Ω runs hottest and goes first. Very sweet, creamy or heavily iced liquids coat the mesh faster too. Change the pod when the flavour turns flat or you catch a faint burnt edge – there is no need to wait for a full dry hit. A pack of three usually lasts two to three weeks.
XLIM EZ Pod Leaking or Gurgling? Quick Fixes
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Liquid in the base or on the contacts | Usually a port that is not fully pressed down, or a pod filled to the brim. Wipe the contacts with a tissue, press the port flush and leave a small air gap next time. A little condensation after heavy use is normal. |
| Gurgling or spitting | Liquid has got into the airway, often from drawing hard on a fresh pod. Take the pod out, wrap the mouthpiece in a tissue and give it a firm flick, then take softer, longer draws. |
| Burnt or dry taste | A new pod that was not left to soak, wattage above the range in the table, or a pod at the end of its life. On day one, check the wattage. After a week, it is time for a fresh pod. |
| No pod detected or will not fire | Clean the gold contacts on the pod and in the device. A 0.4Ω pod in an XLIM SE, SQ or original XLIM Pod will not fire – use 0.6Ω or higher in those. |
| Weak or muted flavour | The wattage is too low for the resistance. Nudge it up within the range, or try the 0.6Ω if you are using the 0.8Ω. |

| Choose it if | You want the quickest, cleanest refill | You want the current top-fill standard | You like the original XLIM format |
All three sit in the same slot, so you can mix them in one device – plenty of customers keep a 1.2Ω for the daytime and a 0.6Ω for the evening. If you prefer a top plug, see the XLIM V3 replacement pods.

Best E-Liquids for These Pods
The 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω EZ pods are built for nic salts and 50/50 freebase. OXVA’s own Ox Passion nic salts are made to pair with XLIM pods, and they are what we reach for when testing a new pod – our Ox Passion nic salts review covers the whole range. If you prefer a smoother freebase, any of our 10ml e-liquids at 50/50 will work. On the 0.4Ω, drop your nicotine – 10mg salts or 3–6mg freebase – because the extra vapour delivers more per puff. Not sure which type suits you? Our guide to nic salts vs freebase explains the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 0.8 or 0.6 better for the OXVA XLIM?
For nic salts we recommend the 0.6Ω. It gives a more intense flavour hit than the 0.8Ω and still suits 10mg and 20mg salts. The 0.8Ω is a little cooler and tighter and lasts slightly longer, so pick it if you want a more cigarette-like draw.
Are XLIM EZ pods compatible with V3 and V2 pods?
Yes. The EZ, V3 and V2 all fit the same XLIM devices and can be swapped freely. The differences are how you fill them and which resistances are available.
Why will my 0.4 ohm EZ pod not work?
The 0.4Ω needs 26–30W. OXVA states it is not compatible with the XLIM SE, XLIM SQ or the original XLIM Pod, which cannot deliver that power. Use 0.6Ω or higher in those devices.
Will XLIM EZ pods fit my NeXlim?
No. NeXlim and XLIM pods are not interchangeable. NeXlim devices need NeXlim Unitech 3 pods.
Can I use EZ pods in the XLIM Pro 2 DNA?
They fit and fire, but the Pro 2 DNA’s Anti-Burn and Flavour Replay only work with the XLIM stainless steel pods.
How long do XLIM EZ pods last?
About a week each for a typical vaper, and up to around 50ml of e-liquid by OXVA’s figures on the 0.6Ω. Sweeter liquids and higher wattage shorten that.
What is the difference between the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm XLIM pods?
The 0.6Ω runs at 20–25W and gives a loose MTL or RDL draw with a warmer, more intense flavour. The 0.8Ω runs at 12–16W for a cooler, tighter MTL draw and slightly longer pod life. With nic salts we recommend the 0.6Ω.
Are all XLIM pods the same?
No, but most are interchangeable. The EZ, V3 and V2 all fit the same XLIM devices and differ in how you fill them and which resistances they come in. The exceptions are the stainless steel pods, which are for the Pro 2 DNA only, and the XLIM C, which uses its own pods.
How do I refill an XLIM EZ pod?
Flip the red port open, fill slowly leaving a small air gap, then press the port flush until it seats. The full steps, with pictures, are above.
What is the best pod for an XLIM kit?
For most people, an EZ or V3 pod in 0.6Ω with nic salts. Choose the 1.2Ω for the tightest draw, or the 0.4Ω for more vapour on a device that reaches 26–30W.
How many pods are in a pack?
Three, all the same resistance.
