OXVA XLIM V2 Pods: The Original Side-Fill XLIM Cartridge
The OXVA XLIM V2 pod is the cartridge that made the XLIM name: a side-fill pod with the coil built in, sold three to a pack in 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω. If your XLIM came with V2 pods and you like the way it vapes, this is the like-for-like replacement.
The V2 fits the same slot as the newer XLIM V3 and XLIM EZ pods, so it works in every XLIM except the XLIM C. What it does not have is a 0.4Ω option or a top-fill port. If either of those matters to you, the V3 is the one to look at.

Which XLIM V2 Resistance?
The V2 comes in three resistances. The lower the number, the looser and warmer the vape and the more power it needs. These are OXVA’s suggested wattage ranges for XLIM pods:

Which Devices Do XLIM V2 Pods Fit?
OXVA originally listed the V2 for the XLIM SQ Pro, XLIM Pro, the original XLIM kit, XLIM SE and XLIM SQ, and states that V2 and top-fill cartridges are compatible with any XLIM series device.
Although the V2 is the original XLIM format, it drops straight into the current kits. The OXVA XLIM Pro 3 and OXVA XLIM 3 Ultra both accept it, and because the V2 range starts at 0.6Ω, every XLIM we sell can run all three V2 resistances. The OXVA XLIM SQ Pro 2, OXVA XLIM GO 2 and budget OXVA XLIM GO Lite take V2 pods too, so if you have a drawer of V2s left over from an older kit, you can keep using them after you upgrade.
In the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA, a V2 pod vapes normally but without Anti-Burn or Flavour Replay, which need the XLIM stainless steel pods. The only XLIM a V2 will not fit is the XLIM C.
Will not fit: the XLIM C or any NeXlim device. XLIM and NeXlim pods are different shapes and are not interchangeable.
How to Fill an XLIM V2 Pod
- Pull the pod out of the device.
- Turn it so the silicone fill plug on the side faces up, and peel the plug back.
- Fill slowly into the port with the bottle angled so air can escape, stopping just below the top of the window.
- Press the plug back in fully and wipe the pod dry, paying attention to the contacts on the bottom.
- Stand a new pod for five minutes before the first puff.
How Long Does a Pod Last?
V2 pods use the same style of built-in coil as the rest of the XLIM range, so you can expect about a week of daily vaping from each one – longer on the 1.2Ω, a little shorter on the 0.6Ω. Swap it when the flavour fades or starts to taste bitter. Sweet and dessert flavours shorten pod life on any resistance.
XLIM V2 Pod Troubleshooting

| Leaking after a refill | The side plug has not closed fully or has been stretched. Press it home all the way round. Filling with the pod upright and the port facing up helps. |
| Gurgling | Liquid has reached the airway. Remove the pod, wrap the mouthpiece end in tissue and flick it firmly. |
| Burnt taste straight away | Not enough soak time, or the wattage is set above the range for that resistance. |
| Flavour tails off | The coil is worn – fit a fresh pod. |
| No pod detected | Clean the contacts on the pod and in the device, and reseat the pod. |

Will V2 pods fit a kit that came with V3 pods?
Yes. V2, V3 and EZ pods fit the same XLIM devices, so you can use V2 pods in a V3 kit and the other way round.
XLIM V2 vs V3: what is the difference?
How you fill them and the resistance range. The V2 fills from a side plug and comes in 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω; the V3 fills from the top and adds a 0.4Ω.
Is 0.8 or 0.6 better for nic salts in the XLIM V2?
The 0.6Ω – it gives a more intense flavour hit. The 0.8Ω is cooler and a little tighter.
Do V2 pods come in 0.4 ohm?
