Which Pods Fit the XLIM Pro 3?

OXVA’s line on the Pro 3 is simple: every XLIM pod fits. These are the wattage windows for each resistance.

It ships with XLIM V3 replacement pods – the top-fill pod most XLIMs now use – and those are the natural refill. The XLIM EZ pods fit just the same and add a flip-open snap-top port that fills in seconds, and the original side-fill XLIM V2 pods also fit. All three are interchangeable, so you can mix them in one device.

At up to 30W, the Pro 3 has the power for every XLIM resistance, from the 0.4Ω right through to the 1.2Ω.

Will not fit: NeXlim pods, or the stainless steel DNA pods (XLIM Pro 2 DNA only).

Getting Started with the XLIM Pro 3

1. Charge the Pro 3 – 80% in about 30 minutes.
2. Fill the pre-installed 0.6Ω V3 pod through the top-fill port, refit it and give it five minutes to soak.
3. Press five times to switch on.
4. Press three times to adjust the wattage; four times locks or unlocks the button.
5. Set the side airflow and either draw to fire or press the button.

XLIM Pro 3 Battery Life and Charging

OXVA rates the Pro 3 at up to five days on a full charge with typical use – the longest of the current screen-equipped XLIMs – and 80% charge in 30 minutes. Because the Pulse System holds the output steady as the charge falls, the vape doesn’t fade in the last day.

MTL or RDL? Setting the Pro 3 Up for Your Style

The Pro 3 covers both main pod vaping styles, and the pod plus airflow setting decides which you get. Mouth-to-lung (MTL) is the two-stage, cigarette-style draw: fit the 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω V3 pod, close the side airflow most of the way and set 12–16W or 10–12W. It suits 20mg nic salts and is where most ex-smokers start. Restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) is a single, slightly restricted breath straight in: fit the 0.6Ω or 0.4Ω, open the airflow and set 20–25W or 26–30W, with 10mg salts or 50/50 freebase. The 0.6Ω sits happily in both camps, which is why it’s our everyday pick.

Switching from Smoking or Disposables?

The Pro 3 is a good first refillable. Leave it on auto-draw and it fires the moment you inhale, just like a disposable, but you choose your own e-liquid and a pod lasts far longer. Start on the 0.8Ω it ships with and 20mg nic salts for a familiar throat hit, then try the 0.6Ω for more flavour once you’re settled. The screen shows your wattage and battery at a glance, and four clicks locks the button so it won’t fire in your pocket.
