Description
VOOPOO Drag H40 Kit: 40W Pod Mod with the PnP Pod II
The VOOPOO Drag H40 is, in VOOPOO’s words, its most compact pod mod: 5–40W from a built-in 1500mAh battery, a 0.54-inch OLED screen, RBA and Smart power modes, and the PnP Pod II with replaceable PnP coils and airflow you adjust by rotating the pod. The UK kit includes the 2ml VOOPOO PnP Pod II and two coils – the PnP-VM3 0.45Ω fitted and the PnP-TW30 0.3Ω spare – plus a spare MTL drip tip.
VOOPOO pitches it at experienced vapers starting out on direct-to-lung vaping, but the MTL drip tip and the PnP coil range mean it also does a tighter mouth-to-lung draw. (The ‘PNP 2’ in our product name refers to the PnP Pod II.) Below: specs, our coil pick, every PnP coil VOOPOO lists for it, setup, battery, troubleshooting and what’s in the box.

Which Pods and Coils Fit the Drag H40?
The Drag H40 takes the PnP Pod II, and the pod takes VOOPOO’s PnP coils.
Replacement pods are the VOOPOO PnP Pod II, sold singly. VOOPOO lists the same pod for the VOOPOO Drag E60 and VOOPOO Drag H80S, so spares work across all three. The pod comes without a coil.
VOOPOO lists these PnP coils for the H40, and we stock them: PnP-VM3 0.45Ω coils (25–32W, half lung), PnP-VM1 0.3Ω coils (32–40W, lung), PnP-VM4 0.6Ω coils (20–28W), the TW30 0.3Ω from our VOOPOO PnP TW coils (28–36W, restricted lung), and for mouth to lung, PnP-TM2 0.8Ω coils (12–18W) and PnP-TR1 1.2Ω coils (10–15W).

Getting Started with the Drag H40
- Charge it over Type-C.
- Pull the pod off – it’s held by magnets – open the side fill port and fill it.
- Push a PnP coil into the base and give a new coil a few minutes to soak before firing.
- Pick Smart mode to let the H40 set the power from the coil, or RBA mode to set anything from 5 to 40W yourself.
- Rotate the pod to set the airflow, then press the fire button to vape – with the PnP Pod II, the H40 fires by button only.

Drag H40 Battery Life
The H40 has a 1500mAh battery built in – small enough to keep the device compact, big enough for a day of moderate use. Wattage decides how far it goes: the VM3 at 25–32W or the TW30 at 28–36W will usually need a charge by evening, while a TM2 MTL coil at 12–18W stretches it much further. The OLED screen records your vaping habits, which is a handy way to see how many puffs you’re taking.
Drag H40 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Nothing happens when I inhale | Normal – with the PnP Pod II, the H40 fires by button only. |
| Burnt taste | The wattage is above the coil’s range – the VM4 tops out at 28W, the TM2 at 18W – or the coil wasn’t soaked. |
| Weak vapour from a VM5 or VM6 | Those coils need 40W and up, more than the H40 can give. Use the VM1, VM3 or TW30. |
| Leaking | Push the coil fully into the pod and close the fill port properly. |
| Draw too loose | Rotate the pod to close the airflow, and fit the MTL drip tip. |
Dual-In-One TW Coils
The TW30 coil in the box uses VOOPOO’s Dual-In-One Tech, which VOOPOO says speeds up heating and vaporising for a fuller DTL hit. It’s rated at 28–36W for a restricted lung draw, and the H40’s 40W ceiling leaves headroom to fine-tune it.
Drag H40 Colours
VOOPOO makes the H40 in Silvery White, Snow Blue, Pink, Green, Gun Metal, Black, Sky Blue and Modern Red, each with 360-degree leather facing. We currently have Black; the colour options above show live stock.
What’s in the Box
One Drag H40, a PnP Pod II (2ml), a PnP-VM3 0.45Ω coil (fitted), a PnP-TW30 0.3Ω coil, a spare MTL drip tip, a Type-C cable, a PnP platform card and a user manual.

Best E-Liquids for the Drag H40
On the lung-hit coils, use low-nicotine freebase: 3mg or 6mg shortfill e-liquids or 50/50 10ml e-liquids. VOOPOO recommends 10mg or less for the TW30 and VM1. On an MTL coil with the MTL drip tip, 10mg or 20mg nic salts work well. See nic salts vs freebase for help choosing.
