Which Pods Fit the LUXE X3?
Vaporesso calls the LUXE X3 fully compatible with the LUXE X family, and its own compatibility chart lists three kinds of pod for it.
The pods the kit ships with, and the ones Vaporesso built the X3 around, are the Vaporesso LUXE X Dual Mesh replacement pods in 0.6Ω and 0.4Ω. They fill from the top, and the dual-layer mesh is the X3’s headline upgrade – these are the pods to keep in your drawer.
The X3 chart also includes the bottom-filling LUXE X Series pods, so our Vaporesso LUXE X 0.6 ohm replacement pods fit and fire too; they’re single mesh and fill from underneath. Vaporesso also lists its LUXE XR empty pods with GTX coils, from 0.3Ω for DTL to 1.2Ω for MTL, if you’d rather change coils than pods.
Will not fit: XROS pods, which Vaporesso’s store marks as a separate platform from the LUXE X range.

Getting Started with the LUXE X3
- Charge the LUXE X3 fully over Type-C before first use.
- Pull out the pre-installed 0.6Ω Dual Mesh pod, open the top-fill port and fill it, leaving a small air gap.
- Refit the pod and let it stand for five minutes so both mesh layers are soaked.
- Set the wattage for your pod, starting low, and adjust the airflow – closed for MTL, open for RDL or DTL.
- Use the one-button lock whenever the X3 goes into a pocket or bag.
LUXE X3 Battery Life and Charging
Vaporesso rates the LUXE X3 at up to five days on a charge in its lab testing, 30% longer than the LUXE X2, and calls it the longest-lasting 45W pod in the industry. How close you get depends on your wattage: at low MTL settings on the 0.6Ω you can expect several days between charges, while running the 0.4Ω near the top of the range means charging more often. The display shows your battery level, the LED strip changes as the charge falls through its 100–60%, 60–20% and 20–0% bands, and 5V/2A charging over Type-C tops it up quickly.
LUXE X3 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Device won’t fire | It may be locked – the one-button lock stops accidental firing. Unlock it, then check the pod is seated. |
| Burnt taste | Lower the wattage, especially on the 0.6Ω, and make sure a new pod soaked for five minutes. |
| Leaking into the device | Close the top-fill port fully and don’t fill to the brim. Store the X3 upright. |
| Older LUXE X pod feels different | LUXE X Series pods fill from the bottom and are single mesh; the Dual Mesh pods fill from the top. |
| Weak vapour on the 0.4Ω | Open the airflow and raise the wattage within the 45W range. |
LUXE X3 vs XROS 5 Mini vs ARMOUR G
| LUXE X3 | XROS 5 Mini | ARMOUR G | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Battery | 2600mAh | 1500mAh | 3000mAh |
| Output | 5–45W, adjustable | No wattage menu | 5–80W, adjustable |
| Display | 0.8-inch digital | LED strip | 0.96-inch TFT |
| What you replace | Dual Mesh pods | XROS pods | GTX coils in an empty pod |
| Best for | Long-lasting MTL to DTL | Simple MTL | Power and coil choice |
Want simpler? The Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini fires on the draw with no settings at all. Want more power and replaceable coils? The Vaporesso ARMOUR G reaches 80W on GTX coils.

What’s in the Box
One LUXE X3, a LUXE X 0.6Ω Dual Mesh pod (fitted), a 0.4Ω Dual Mesh pod, a Type-C cable, a user manual and warranty card, and a reminder card.

Best E-Liquids for the LUXE X3
The LUXE X3 handles both camps. On the 0.6Ω Dual Mesh at MTL settings, use 10mg or 20mg nic salts or a 50/50 freebase from our 10ml e-liquids. Open it up on the 0.4Ω and lower your nicotine: a shortfill e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg suits a lung hit. Our guide to nic salts vs freebase explains why strength should drop as vapour rises.
