Vaporesso LUXE X Dual Mesh Pods: Top-Fill Pods for the LUXE X3

The Vaporesso LUXE X Dual Mesh pod is the top-filling pod the Vaporesso LUXE X3 comes with. Instead of one mesh strip it uses a dual-layer mesh structure, which Vaporesso says gives a larger heating surface and more thorough vaporisation – 25% better aroma reproduction and double the lifespan by its lab figures. Two pods per pack, in 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω.

The two resistances suit different vapers: the 0.6Ω is Vaporesso’s MTL option and ships fitted in the X3; the 0.4Ω is the RDL pod in the box. Here’s how to choose, fill and look after them.

LUXE X Dual Mesh: 0.4 vs 0.6 Ohm

Vaporesso publishes a vaping style for each Dual Mesh pod but no per-pod wattage. The LUXE X3 has a 5–45W output, so start low and work up until the flavour peaks.

Which Devices Do LUXE X Dual Mesh Pods Fit?

Vaporesso’s LUXE X3 page is the one device page that confirms these pods, and the X3 ships with both resistances.

These are the pods the Vaporesso LUXE X3 Pod Vape Kit is built around: it arrives with the 0.6Ω fitted and a 0.4Ω in the box, and its dual-layer mesh is the X3’s headline upgrade. Its 5–45W range comfortably covers both resistances.

Will not fit: XROS, LUXE Q or ECO NANO devices. Vaporesso’s box says LUXE X family compatible, but its LUXE X and LUXE X2 device pages predate this pod and don’t list it, so we don’t claim those – for an older LUXE X, our LUXE X 0.6 ohm mesh pods are confirmed.

How to Fill a Dual Mesh Pod

1. Pull the pod out of the LUXE X3.
2. Open the top-fill tab on the side of the mouthpiece.
3. Fill slowly, leaving a small air gap.
4. Close the tab until it sits flush, then wipe the pod.
5. Refit, and leave a new pod a few minutes before the first puff so both mesh layers soak.

How Long Does a Pod Last?

Vaporesso’s "100% longer lifespan" is a lab figure without a stated baseline, so we treat it as a guide. In practice a dual-layer coil spreads the heat and tends to outlast a single mesh at the same setting. Most customers change a Dual Mesh pod every one to two weeks; the 0.4Ω at higher power goes sooner.

What the Dual Mesh Changes

A single mesh heats liquid from one surface. Stack two mesh layers and the same pod has more surface in contact with the wick, so it can vaporise more evenly without running hotter. Vaporesso calls it the X3’s key upgrade. The trade-off is a slightly taller pod – 38.5mm against 34.5mm for the older LUXE X Series pod.
