Geekvape M Coil: M Series Mesh Coils for the Z Max Tank
The Geekvape M coil is GeekVape’s M Series – M for max – a large mesh coil built for the Z Max tank and nothing else. We sell it in two versions, the M0.14 single mesh and the M0.3 dual mesh, five coils to a pack.
GeekVape is clear that the M Series only works in the Z Max, which it also calls the Zeus Max. It does not fit the Z Fli, Z Sub-Ohm or any other Z tank, even though the names are close. If the Z Max is your tank, you’re in the right place; if not, the fitment notes below point you to the right coil.

Both coils we stock have their rating etched on the body. GeekVape also makes a triple and a quadruple mesh M coil, which we don’t list.

What Does the Geekvape M Coil Fit?
GeekVape says the M Series is compatible with the Z Max tank only. The Z Max was the tank in the Aegis Legend 2 Classic (L200 Classic) kit, which shipped with the M0.14 and M0.2.
We don’t currently stock a Z Max tank or the Legend 2 Classic kit, so this coil is for existing Z Max owners. If you’ve moved to a newer Geekvape Z tank – such as the one in the Aegis Legend 5 kit – you’ll need Z or Z XM coils instead.
Will not fit: any other Z tank. The Z Fli, Z Sub-Ohm SE and Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5 take Geekvape Z coils or Z XM coils instead, and so do the standard Aegis Legend 2 and Max 2 kits.
How to Fit and Prime a Geekvape M Coil
- Empty the Z Max, unscrew the base and remove the old coil.
- Soak the cotton through the side windows of the new coil – these are big coils with a lot of wick, so be generous.
- Fit the coil, refit the base and fill the tank.
- Give it several minutes to soak before firing.
- Start near the bottom of the range: 60W for the M0.14, 55W for the M0.3.
How Long Does a Geekvape M Coil Last?
GeekVape doesn’t give a lifespan – only that it depends on wattage, e-liquid and how you vape. Large mesh coils at this power get through e-liquid and cotton quickly, so expect to change them more often than a 50W coil. Clear, less sweet liquids help.
M Coil Troubleshooting

Best E-Liquids for M Coils
These are cloud coils: pair them with a high-VG shortfill at around 3mg, made up with a nic shot. GeekVape doesn’t publish e-liquid advice for the M Series, but at this power nic salts are the wrong choice – that’s our advice, not GeekVape’s.
