A 30ft spool (just over 9m) of Ni80 nichrome resistance wire in 24 gauge from UD, for building your own coils.
Ni80 heats quickly and holds its shape well, which makes it a popular first wire. It’s for power (wattage) mode only: nichrome isn’t a temperature-control wire.

What Can I Build With It?
Coils for RDAs, RTAs and rebuildable decks, used in power mode.
Rebuildables we stock that take a hand-wrapped coil: the Innokin Thermo, the Vandy Vape Iconic and the Uwell Nunchaku RDA kit.
Will not fit: temperature-control mode. TC needs nickel, titanium or stainless steel wire.
How to Build With Ni80
- Wrap your coil on a jig, then fit it into the posts and tighten the screws.
- Trim the leads flush with cutters.
- Read the resistance on a regulated mod, then pulse at low power and squeeze out any hot spots with ceramic tweezers.
- Thread cotton through the coil, trim it, and tuck the tails into the well.
- Prime the cotton with e-liquid, fit the cap and start low.
How Long Does a Coil Last?
A wire coil lasts months if you dry-burn gently and re-wick when the flavour fades. The spool will make many builds.

Build Safety
Before you fire any build, read its resistance on a regulated mod and check your battery can take the current. Current is voltage divided by resistance: a fully charged cell at 4.2V across a 0.2Ω build draws 21A, more than many 18650s are rated for. If you’re not sure, bring the atomiser in and we’ll read it for you.
