SMOK Stick M17 Coils: Replacement Cores for the Stick M17
SMOK Stick M17 coils are the replacement cores for the Stick M17 and Priv M17 kits. SMOK’s compatibility table lists them in two resistances, 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω, five to a pack; we stock the 0.4Ω. UK retailers describe them as dual coils.
SMOK has since removed the Stick M17 from its site, so there is less official detail than we’d like. Retailers disagree on wattage, and some of the figures quoted are implausible for a pen of this size, so we don’t print one. What we can confirm is the fitment.

What Does the Stick M17 Coil Fit?
SMOK lists the Stick M17 coil series for two kits: the Stick M17 and the Priv M17.
We don’t sell the Stick M17 or Priv M17 ourselves, so these are for owners. The similar-looking Stick AIO takes different SMOK Stick AIO coils, and the Tech247 takes SMOK M coils.
Will not fit: the Stick AIO, V8 Stick, Stick Prince or the Tech247, and it’s not the GeekVape M coil.
How to Fit and Prime a Stick M17 Coil
- Unscrew the tank from the battery and remove the base.
- Unscrew the old coil.
- Wet the new coil’s cotton through its wicking ports.
- Screw the coil in, rebuild the tank and fill.
- Wait five minutes before vaping.
How Long Does a Stick M17 Coil Last?
Without an official figure, our best guide is that a small pen coil on freebase typically lasts around a week. Replace it when the taste goes flat or burnt.
