Description
OXVA XLIM GO 2 Pod Kit: A Buttonless 30W Starter Pod
The OXVA XLIM GO 2 is the XLIM for people who don’t want to learn how to use a vape. There are no buttons and nothing to set up: fill the pod, clip it in and draw. Inside a 45.9g body you get a 1500mAh battery, 5–30W output and a side airflow dial that runs from a tight mouth-to-lung pull to a looser restricted lung draw.
It takes the whole family of XLIM pods in four resistances. Below: specifications, the pod we’d fit, set-up, battery life, fixes and how it compares with the XLIM Pro 3. For a hands-on verdict, read our XLIM GO 2 beginner review.

Which Pods Fit the OXVA XLIM GO 2?
Every current XLIM pod clicks into the GO 2, and its 30W ceiling is high enough for all four resistances.
The GO 2 ships with an XLIM Top Fill pod, which is the same cartridge as the OXVA XLIM V3 replacement pods, so those are the like-for-like refill, in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω. If you find the top plug fiddly, the XLIM EZ replacement pods have a flip-open snap-top port instead and come in the same four resistances.
Older XLIM V2 pods fit too, in 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω, so a drawer of V2s from a previous XLIM won’t go to waste.
Will not fit: XLIM stainless steel pods, which are made for the Pro 2 DNA only, or any NeXlim pod – NeXlim and XLIM pods are not interchangeable.
Getting Started with the XLIM GO 2
- Charge the GO 2 over USB Type-C before first use. The light turns green once it’s above 60%.
- Pull out the 0.8Ω Top Fill pod, open the silicone plug on top and fill it, leaving a small gap at the top.
- Close the plug, clip the pod back in and wait five to eight minutes so the cotton around the coil soaks through – that’s OXVA’s own priming advice.
- Set the airflow on the side: closed down for a tight MTL draw, opened up for a looser RDL pull.
- Inhale gently. The GO 2 fires on the draw and a hidden starry light glows while you vape. There’s nothing to switch on.
XLIM GO 2 Battery Life and Charging
OXVA rates the 1500mAh battery at up to five days of use with the 0.8Ω pod, which it sums up as Monday to Friday on a single charge. A 0.4Ω at 26–30W draws far more power, so you’ll charge sooner. Charging runs at 5V/2A and OXVA quotes 80% in 30 minutes, so a quick top-up over lunch usually covers the evening.
XLIM GO 2 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Nothing happens when I draw | Check the pod is fully seated and the contacts are dry. If the light stays off, the battery needs charging. |
| Flavour feels a bit flat on the kit pod | The 0.8Ω is the milder option. Try an 0.6Ω V3 or EZ pod for a stronger flavour hit with nic salts. |
| Burnt taste from a new pod | It wasn’t soaked long enough. OXVA suggests five to eight minutes after the first fill. |
| Gurgling or spitting | Liquid in the airway. Take the pod out, wrap the mouthpiece in tissue, give it a firm flick and take softer draws. |
XLIM GO 2 vs XLIM Pro 3
| XLIM GO 2 | XLIM Pro 3 | |

| Battery | 1500mAh | 1500mAh |
| Charging | 5V/2A, 80% in 30 minutes | 5V/2A, 80% in 30 minutes |

Same battery and power, very different experience: the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 pod kit adds a screen, a fire button and wattage adjustment in a heavier zinc alloy body.

Best E-Liquids for the XLIM GO 2
The GO 2 is an MTL and RDL device, so it suits nic salt e-liquids at 10mg or 20mg. OXVA’s Ox Passion nic salts are made for XLIM pods, and our Ox Passion review picks out the best flavours. OXVA also pairs the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω with freebase, so 50/50 freebase e-liquids at 3–6mg are worth a try on those. Not sure which you need? Read nic salts vs freebase nicotine.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the OXVA XLIM GO 2 good?
For a first vape, yes. It’s buttonless, light, takes every XLIM pod and OXVA rates it at up to five days per charge on the 0.8Ω. The trade-off is no screen and no wattage control.
Does the XLIM GO 2 have a fire button?
No. It’s draw-activated only, so there’s nothing to press, lock or set up.
Can I use 0.4 ohm pods in the XLIM GO 2?
Yes. It reaches 30W, which covers the 0.4Ω’s 26–30W window. Expect more vapour, but faster battery drain and shorter pod life.
How do I know when the XLIM GO 2 needs charging?
Watch the light when you draw: green means 60–100%, blue 20–60% and red below 20%.
What pods fit the XLIM GO 2?
Every XLIM V3 (Top Fill), EZ and V2 pod, in any resistance from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω. Stainless steel DNA pods and NeXlim pods do not fit.
How long does the XLIM GO 2 battery last?
OXVA rates it at up to five days per charge on the 0.8Ω pod with moderate use. Lower-resistance pods and heavier use shorten that.
XLIM GO 2 vs XLIM GO Lite: which should I buy?
The GO 2 if you can stretch to it: 1500mAh against 1000mAh, twice the charging rate and no buttons at all. The XLIM GO Lite is lighter and cheaper, and takes the same pods.
