Aspire Gotek X Pod Kit: Pocket-Size, Draw-Activated MTL

The Aspire Gotek X is the simplest kit in Aspire’s Gotek range: no buttons, no screen and no settings to learn. Fill the side-fill Gotek pod, draw on the mouthpiece and it fires, powered by a 650mAh battery that Aspire says is good for around two days between charges. At 52g, in a translucent body roughly the size of a matchbox, it’s one of the smallest refillable kits we sell.

It uses the same Aspire Gotek replacement pods as the rest of the Gotek family, each with a mesh 0.8Ω coil built in. Which Pods Fit the Aspire Gotek X?

The Gotek X takes the refillable Gotek pod, the same pod Aspire lists across its Gotek range.

Buy the Aspire Gotek replacement pods (2 pack) for the Gotek X. Each pod has its mesh coil built in, so there’s no coil to change – when the flavour fades, fit a fresh pod. The 0.8Ω is the resistance Aspire confirms for the Gotek X, and it’s the one we recommend.

The same pod slots into the Aspire Gotek Pro, the Aspire Gotek Nano and the Aspire Gotek Pro 2, so spares carry over if you upgrade within the range. Aspire also says the Gotek S shares the Gotek X’s pod.

Will not fit: Minican, PIXO, Loomix or Flexus pods – they’re different shapes with different contacts.

Getting Started with the Gotek X

1. Charge the Gotek X with the Type-C cable before first use.
2. Pull the pod out, lift the silicone plug on its side and fill with e-liquid, leaving a little space at the top.
3. Press the plug home, wipe the pod and push it back into the device.
4. We recommend leaving a new pod five minutes so the cotton around the mesh can soak.
5. Set the airflow on the base – closed for a tight, cigarette-style pull, open for a looser draw – and inhale to vape.

Gotek X Battery Life and Charging

Aspire rates the 650mAh battery at around two days of vaping per charge, and because the output is a fixed 3.6V there’s no setting that drains it faster. Heavier vapers will still charge daily; lighter vapers often go longer. It charges over Type-C, so it shares a lead with most phones. If you find it running flat by mid-afternoon, the Gotek Pro has more than double the capacity and takes exactly the same pods.

Is the Gotek X Good for Ex-Smokers?

For a first refillable kit it’s hard to make simpler. There is nothing to press: the sensor fires as you inhale, and the 0.8Ω coil with the airflow closed down gives a tight mouth-to-lung pull close to a cigarette. Start on 20mg nic salts for a familiar throat hit, then drop to 10mg as you settle. Because the pod is refillable, you choose from any flavour we sell rather than a sealed pod’s short list.
