Description
Aspire Gotek Replacement Pods: Side-Fill Mesh Pods for the Gotek Range
The Aspire Gotek replacement pod is the refillable side-fill pod shared across Aspire’s Gotek family. Two pods to a pack, each with a non-replaceable mesh coil, in 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω. Aspire describes both as restricted direct-to-lung, and in practice the 0.8Ω gives the tighter, more cigarette-like draw.
Aspire lists the pod for seven Gotek devices, including the Aspire Gotek X and Aspire Gotek Pro we stock. One detail matters before you order: Aspire’s own documents disagree on which devices take the 0.6Ω, so we explain exactly what is confirmed below.

🔌 Aspire Gotek Replacement Pods
✔ Two pods per pack
✔ Mesh coil built into the pod
✔ 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω
✔ Side fill through a silicone plug
✔ Shared across the Gotek range
✔ Works with nic salts and 50/50 freebase
Gotek Pod 0.6 vs 0.8 Ohm
The two Gotek resistances feel noticeably different. Aspire gives a wattage for the 0.8Ω on its Gotek Pro page; it doesn’t publish one for the 0.6Ω.
| Resistance | Wattage | Draw | Best with |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.6Ω | Set by the device | Looser RDL | More vapour and warmer flavour; 10mg nic salts or 50/50 freebase |
| 0.8Ω | 13–16W | RDL leaning MTL | Our pick for 20mg nic salts – tighter and longer-lasting |
Which Devices Do Gotek Pods Fit?
Aspire lists the refillable Gotek pod for the Gotek Nano, Gotek X II, Gotek Pro, Gotek S, Gotek X, Gotek X III and Gotek Pro II. Its December 2024 compatibility chart is narrower for the 0.6Ω: Gotek Nano, Gotek Pro and Gotek X II only. The 0.8Ω is confirmed for the Nano, S, X, Pro and X II.
Of the Gotek devices, we stock the Aspire Gotek X Pod Kit and the Aspire Gotek Pro Pod Kit. The Gotek X is the simple draw-activated model, and the 0.8Ω pod is the confirmed match for it. The Gotek Pro adds more control and is confirmed for both the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω. The pod also fits the Aspire Gotek Nano and the Aspire Gotek Pro 2, along with the Gotek S, Gotek X II and Gotek X III.
Will not fit: Aspire Minican, PIXO, Loomix or Flexus devices. Aspire’s separate prefilled Gotek pods are a different product. Until Aspire confirms otherwise, we don’t recommend the 0.6Ω for the Gotek X or Gotek S.

How to Refill a Gotek Pod
- Pull the pod out of the device.
- Find the silicone plug on the side of the pod and peel it back.
- Fill slowly with the pod upright, stopping just below the top so there is a small air gap.
- Press the plug firmly back into place and wipe the pod and contacts dry.
- Push the pod back in and leave a new pod standing for five minutes before the first puff.

How Long Does a Pod Last?
Aspire doesn’t publish a lifespan for the Gotek pod. In the shop, most customers get about a week from each pod on 20mg nic salts, a little longer on the 0.8Ω and a little less on the 0.6Ω. Very sweet liquids coat the mesh faster. When the flavour dulls or tastes burnt, swap the pod – the coil can’t be changed separately.
Gotek Pod Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Leaking from the side plug | The plug isn’t fully seated. Press it in all the way round, and fill with the pod upright. |
| Gurgling | Remove the pod, wrap the mouthpiece in tissue and flick it firmly. Softer draws help. |
| Burnt taste on day one | The pod wasn’t soaked long enough. Leave the next one five minutes. |
| Pod not firing | Clean the contacts on the pod and in the device and reseat it. If it’s a 0.6Ω in a Gotek X or S, try the 0.8Ω. |
| Flavour tails off | The coil is worn. Fit a fresh pod. |
Refillable Gotek Pods vs Prefilled Gotek Pods
Aspire makes two kinds of Gotek pod. These are the refillable ones, which you fill with any nic salt or 50/50 liquid. Aspire also sells prefilled Gotek pods that fit the same devices but come sealed with liquid. If you want to choose your own flavours and save money over time, the refillable pod is the one to buy.
Best E-Liquids for These Pods
Gotek pods suit nic salts and 50/50 freebase; our 10ml e-liquids cover freebase. Keep high-VG shortfills for sub-ohm tanks. For more on the Gotek range, read our Aspire Gotek Pro 2 review.
