VOOPOO PnP X Coils: 0.15 to 0.8 Ohm for the PnP X Cartridges
VOOPOO PnP X coils are the coils for VOOPOO’s newer PnP X platform: the Drag S2, Drag X2 and the PnP X cartridges. Five come in a box, and we stock the 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.3Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω. VOOPOO also makes a 0.45Ω and 1.0Ω.
The most important thing to know is what they don’t fit. VOOPOO says the PnP X series is not compatible with products of the original PnP platform – so no PnP Pod, PnP Pod 2 or Drag H40 – and the MTL cartridge only takes two of the resistances. The table below shows which coil goes where, with VOOPOO’s own airflow settings.

Which Pods and Devices Take PnP X Coils?
VOOPOO lists PnP X coils for the Drag S2 and Drag X2, the Argus Pro 2 and the Doric 60 Pro, through its PnP X cartridges and tanks.
The VOOPOO PnP X Cartridge DTL takes every PnP X coil, and VOOPOO rates the 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω and 0.3Ω best in it. The VOOPOO PnP X Cartridge MTL is stricter: VOOPOO’s spec allows only the 0.3Ω and 0.6Ω. Both cartridges fit the VOOPOO Drag S2 and Drag X2 – the Drag X2 ships with the 0.15Ω and 0.3Ω – and VOOPOO’s platform chart adds the Argus Pro 2 and Doric 60 Pro.
VOOPOO also makes PnP X Pod Tanks for 510 mods: the DTL tank takes every PnP X coil and the MTL tank only the 0.3Ω and 0.6Ω.
Will not fit: the original PnP Pod, PnP Pod 2, PnP MTL Pod, Drag S, Drag X, Drag H40 or Vinci pods – VOOPOO says PnP X isn’t compatible with the PnP platform. In the MTL cartridge, don’t fit the 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω or 0.8Ω.
How to Fit and Prime a PnP X Coil
- Take the cartridge off the device’s magnets.
- Push the coil into the base. It is keyed so it only goes in one way, and it should end up flush with the bottom of the pod.
- Open the side filler plug and fill to about two-thirds, as VOOPOO recommends.
- Close the plug and let the cartridge stand for five minutes.
- Set the airflow using VOOPOO’s guide in the table, and start at the low end of the wattage.
How Long Does a PnP X Coil Last?
Long life is VOOPOO’s main selling point for PnP X – it claims a pack can last a whole season, thanks to the thermo-stable cotton and the way the mesh spreads heat. That’s VOOPOO’s own testing, and real life depends on wattage and liquid. What we see: the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω on nic salts often go two weeks or more; the 0.15Ω at 70W, a few days. Change it when the flavour fades.
PnP X Coil Troubleshooting

Same idea, different fitting. If you own a Drag H40, you need original PnP coils such as the PnP VM3 or TW30.
Best E-Liquids for PnP X Coils
VOOPOO recommends 10mg or lower and 50–70% VG for the 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω and 0.3Ω – so 3mg or 6mg shortfills. The 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω are MTL coils: VOOPOO suggests around 50% VG, and nic salts at 10mg or 20mg suit them well.
