VOOPOO PnP X Cartridge DTL: The Empty Pod for Every PnP X Coil
The VOOPOO PnP X Cartridge DTL is the direct-to-lung empty pod for VOOPOO’s PnP X platform. It comes without a coil: you push in the VOOPOO PnP X coil you want, and when the coil wears you replace that, not the pod. The DTL version takes every coil in the PnP X series, from the 0.15Ω cloud coil to the 1.0Ω.
Airflow comes in from the top, with a 360° adjustable ring and a scale line so you can find your setting again. VOOPOO builds it with four layers of leak protection, keeping the airway, heating zone and air cavity apart. Which Devices Does the PnP X Cartridge DTL Fit?
VOOPOO lists the PnP X cartridges for the Drag S2 and Drag X2, and its PnP X platform chart adds the Argus Pro 2 and Doric 60 Pro.
The VOOPOO Drag S2 Pod Kit and VOOPOO Drag X2 Pod Kit are the two devices VOOPOO names on the cartridge itself, and both take PnP X cartridges on a magnetic connection. VOOPOO’s PnP X platform chart also lists the Argus Pro 2 and Doric 60 Pro.
For a lung hit on either Drag, fit the PnP X 0.3Ω or lower from our PnP X coil range.
No magnetic PnP X device? The same coils go in the VOOPOO PnP X Pod Tank DTL, which screws onto any 510 mod.
Will not fit: the Drag X Plus Pro or Argus XT – VOOPOO doesn’t confirm either for this cartridge. Original PnP coils (VM, TW, TR and the rest) don’t fit PnP X cartridges.
How to Fit a Coil and Prime the PnP X DTL
- Pull the cartridge off the device’s magnets.
- Push the PnP X coil into the base of the pod. It only goes in one way round, and it should sit flush with the base.
- Open the side filler plug and fill the pod to about two-thirds, as VOOPOO advises.
- Close the filler plug and let the pod stand for five minutes so the cotton soaks through.
- Refit the pod, set the airflow ring and start at the bottom of your coil’s wattage range.
How Long Does a Pod Last?
The pod itself lasts for months – it’s the coil that wears. VOOPOO markets PnP X coils on long life and says each can handle a large volume of e-liquid before burning or leaking, with the caveat that lab results differ from everyday use. In the shop, DTL vapers on the 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω change coils most often; the 0.3Ω goes noticeably longer. Replace the pod if it cracks or the filler plug stops sealing.

VOOPOO’s spec for this cartridge is 50–70% VG with nicotine at 10mg or lower. That rules out high-strength nic salts on the low-resistance coils: use 3mg or 6mg freebase instead.
