Description
VOOPOO PnP VM6 Coil 0.15 Ohm: The Drag X Cloud Coil
The VOOPOO PnP VM6 coil is the lowest-resistance mesh coil in the original PnP range: 0.15Ω, 60–80W, five per pack. VOOPOO says it was specially developed for the Drag X, and it’s the kit coil in the Drag X and Argus GT.
It needs real power. That makes the VM6 a coil for 80W-class devices, not for every PnP pod – and one popular device people try it in, the Drag S, can’t drive it properly. Details below.

🔌 VOOPOO PnP-VM6 0.15Ω, 5 pack
✔ Five VM6 coils
✔ 0.15Ω mesh
✔ 60–80W
✔ Maximum vapour, DL only
✔ Developed for the Drag X
✔ Not for 40W or 60W devices
VM6 Specification
VOOPOO’s Drag X and Argus GT pages give the same figures as the engraving on the coil:
| Detail | PnP-VM6 |
|---|---|
| Resistance | 0.15Ω |
| Wattage | 60–80W |
| Type | Mesh |
| Style | Direct-to-lung |
| VOOPOO’s applicable device | Drag X |
Which Pods and Devices Take the VM6?
VOOPOO names only the Drag X on the VM6’s applicable-products list. It is also the Argus GT kit coil and appears on the PnP Pod II table.
VOOPOO developed the VM6 for the Drag X, so the VOOPOO PnP Pod on a Drag X is its original home. It’s also on the PnP Pod 2 coil table, and on an 80W device such as the VOOPOO Drag H80S that pod has the power to run it properly.
The Argus GT, with up to 160W, ships with a VM6 and VM5. What the VM6 needs is headroom: 60W is its minimum, so the Drag S (60W) and Drag H40 (40W) can’t do it justice.
Will not fit: the PnP MTL Pod (0.3Ω and above only), the Vinci Air (0.45Ω minimum) or any PnP X product. It will seat in a Drag S or Drag H40 pod, but neither device reaches the VM6’s range.
How to Fit and Prime a PnP VM6 Coil
- Pull the pod off and remove the used coil.
- Soak the new VM6 thoroughly – at 60W and up, a dry patch of cotton burns instantly.
- Press the coil into the pod until it’s flush.
- Fill and wait a full five to ten minutes.
- Fire a few short puffs at 60W before moving up.
How Long Does a PnP VM6 Coil Last?
No official figure. A 0.15Ω coil at 60–80W has the shortest life of any PnP coil, and our customers typically get three to six days from each, depending on how sweet the liquid is. Change it as soon as the vapour thins or the flavour turns burnt.
VM6 Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Lukewarm vapour | Your device isn’t delivering 60W. Check the setting, or choose the VM5 or VM1. |
| Dry hits | Wicking can’t keep up. Use 70/30 or higher VG and slow your draws. |
| Battery drains fast | Normal at 70W+. Drop a few watts. |
| Gurgling | Open the airflow fully and blow excess liquid out into a tissue. |
VM6 vs TW15
| VM6 | TW15 | |
|---|---|---|
| Resistance | 0.15Ω | 0.15Ω |
| Wattage | 60–80W | 55–70W |
| Tech | Mesh | Mesh, Dual-In-One |
| VOOPOO lists | Drag X | Drag X, Drag H80S, Argus Pro |
Both are maximum-cloud coils. The TW15 runs a little cooler and VOOPOO says it uses less liquid.
Best E-Liquids for the PnP VM6
Use 3mg freebase, 6mg at most. VOOPOO recommends 10mg or lower, but at 70W that’s a lot of nicotine per puff. A thick 70/30 or 80/20 shortfill is ideal; thinner liquids will spit and leak.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the VM6 fit the Drag S?
It fits the pod, but the Drag S tops out at 60W, the bottom of the VM6’s range, and VOOPOO lists the VM6 for the Drag X only. Use the VM5 on the Drag S.
What wattage is a VM6 coil?
60–80W.
Which is stronger, VM5 or VM6?
The VM6: lower resistance, more power, more vapour. VOOPOO ships the two together in the Argus GT.
What is the best PnP coil for clouds?
The VM6 at 60–80W, or the TW15 at 55–70W, on a device that can deliver that power.
