The Vaporesso GTX One is a compact tank-mod kit for mouth-to-lung and restricted lung vaping. The mod packs a 2000mAh battery with 2A Type-C charging, 5–40W of adjustable power with Smart VW mode and a 0.69-inch OLED screen, and it’s paired with the GTX Tank 18: top filling, adjustable airflow and push-and-pull coil changes.
It comes with two GTX mesh coils, a 0.8Ω fitted and a 1.2Ω spare – both MTL coils that suit nic salts and 50/50 liquids. If you like the feel of a small tank on a proper mod rather than a pod, but don’t want a big sub-ohm setup, this is the Vaporesso to look at. Which Coils Fit the GTX One?
The GTX Tank 18 uses Vaporesso’s GTX coils, which push into and pull out of the base – there are no threads to fiddle with.
Our Vaporesso GTX coils 5 pack include the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω mesh coils the GTX One kit is built around, so you can buy like-for-like replacements for either. Those are the two resistances Vaporesso specifies for the GTX One, and we’d stick with them rather than the sub-ohm GTX coils, which are meant for 80W pod mods like the ARMOUR G.
Will not fit: GTi coils, which are a separate DTL platform for the iTank range.
Getting Started with the GTX One
- Charge the mod over Type-C; it charges at 2A.
- Take the tank off, fill it from the top and leave a small gap.
- Give the GTX 0.8Ω coil five minutes to soak before firing.
- Set around 14W for the 0.8Ω (8–10W for the 1.2Ω).
- Adjust the tank’s airflow for a tight or looser draw, then press the fire button to vape.
GTX One Battery Life
2000mAh goes a long way at MTL wattages. At 12–16W on the 0.8Ω, most MTL vapers will get a full day or more, and on the 1.2Ω below 11W, longer again. Charging is at 2A over Type-C, so a top-up is quick. If you want more stamina in the same slim format, the GTX One Pro has a 3000mAh battery that Vaporesso says lasts 50% longer.

Why a Tank Instead of a Pod?
A small tank like the GTX Tank 18 gives you a replaceable coil instead of a replaceable pod, a glass section you can see the liquid through, and a proper fire button and screen for setting the power exactly. It suits vapers who’ve outgrown a pod kit but still want a mouth-to-lung draw: you change a coil when the flavour fades, and the tank itself lasts.

Best E-Liquids for the GTX One
The GTX One’s coils are MTL coils. Fill it with nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or 50/50 freebase from our 10ml e-liquids. Vaporesso’s GTX chart suggests salts for the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω, or 12–20mg freebase if you prefer that.
