How the Tools Fit in a Build
- Wrap your coil on a jig, then fit it into the posts and tighten the screws.
- Trim the leads flush with cutters.
- Read the resistance on a regulated mod, then pulse at low power and squeeze out any hot spots with ceramic tweezers.
- Thread cotton through the coil, trim it, and tuck the tails into the well.
- Prime the cotton with e-liquid, fit the cap and start low.
Looking After Your Tools
Keep them dry and wipe e-liquid off the blades. Use the scissors only on cotton to keep them sharp.
Building Tips

| Screws strip | Use the screwdriver that fits the head snugly. |
| Leads won’t cut flush | Cut with the flat side of the nippers against the post. |
| Cotton frays | Cut it with one clean snip, not several. |
Build Safety
Before you fire any build, read its resistance on a regulated mod and check your battery can take the current. Current is voltage divided by resistance: a fully charged cell at 4.2V across a 0.2Ω build draws 21A, more than many 18650s are rated for. If you’re not sure, bring the atomiser in and we’ll read it for you.
