Geekvape Super Mesh X1 Coil: 0.2 Ohm for the Cerberus, Shield and Aero
This is the Geekvape Super Mesh X1 coil: a 0.2Ω KA1 mesh head rated 60–70W, five to a pack, for GeekVape’s Shield, Aero and Cerberus sub-ohm tanks. The box calls it the new version of the Super Mesh X1.
Our old listing said this coil fits the Zeus sub-ohm tank. It doesn’t: Zeus tanks, now called Z tanks, take Geekvape Z coils. Below is what GeekVape actually lists, plus the difference between the X1 and the X2.

Super Mesh X1 and X2 Ratings
GeekVape makes two Super Mesh coils for these tanks. The X1 is the lower-resistance, higher-power one.

Which Tanks Take the Super Mesh X1?
GeekVape lists the Super Mesh X1 and X2 for three tanks: the Shield, the Aero and the Cerberus.
We don’t currently stock the Shield, Aero or Cerberus tanks, but we do carry replacement Cerberus tank glass, so Cerberus owners can keep both glass and coils topped up in one order.
Will not fit: any Zeus or Z tank (Z Series coils), the Z Max (M coils) or the Alpha tank (Mesh Mellow coils).
How to Fit a Super Mesh X1 Coil
- Empty the tank and unscrew the base.
- Unscrew the old coil and screw in the new one.
- Wet the cotton through the side ports with a few drops of e-liquid.
- Reassemble, fill and wait five minutes before the first puff.
How Long Does a Super Mesh X1 Last?
GeekVape prints “last longer, taste better” on the box but gives no figure, and neither do we. A 0.2Ω coil at 65W works hard; expect days rather than weeks with sweet liquids, and longer with clear flavours.

Best E-Liquids for the Super Mesh X1
Use a high-VG shortfill e-liquid at 3mg or lower. GeekVape publishes no e-liquid guidance for this coil; our advice is to keep nic salts for low-power pod kits.
