Aspire Nautilus XS mesh coils are the 0.7Ω mesh heads for Aspire’s Nautilus XS tank, five to a pack. The XS is a 2ml tank, and it comes with two coils: this 0.7Ω mesh, and a 1.8Ω Nautilus X U-Tech coil.

Which Tanks Take Nautilus XS Coils?
The Nautilus XS tank is the one they’re made for. Aspire confirms the XS coil also fits the Nautilus X tank, but says that to ensure a good vape it doesn’t recommend using the 0.7Ω mesh in the X. Aspire doesn’t list the XS among the tanks that take its standard Aspire Nautilus coils, so don’t expect those to swap.

How to Change and Prime a Nautilus XS Coil
- Take the tank off your device and empty it.
- Unscrew the tank from its base and unscrew the old coil.
- Wet the mesh through the new coil’s side holes with a few drops of e-liquid, and add a drop to the top.
- Screw in the new coil, reassemble the tank and fill it.
- Wait about five minutes, then start at 18W.
How Long Does a Nautilus XS Coil Last?
Aspire doesn’t publish a figure. Mesh heats evenly, which helps, but sweet or dark e-liquids and running at the top of the range still shorten it. Replace it when the flavour fades or a dry note creeps in.
Nautilus XS Coil Troubleshooting

| Dry or burnt hit | The mesh wasn’t primed, or the wattage is above 22W. Prime properly and stay in Aspire’s range. |
| Weak, muted flavour | Try a watt or two higher, up to 22W. |
| Spitting | Too much liquid in the coil. Take a couple of short draws without firing. |
| Disappointing in a Nautilus X tank | Aspire advises against the 0.7Ω mesh in the X. Use a Nautilus X coil there. |
Best E-Liquids for Nautilus XS Coils
With the 0.7Ω mesh, use a 50/50 freebase e-liquid at 3mg to 12mg, or nic salts at 10mg if you want a stronger hit. Aspire doesn’t give a VG ratio, so that’s our guidance.
