From Hollybank to the Heart of Hythe: Why We Moved
We moved because our customers asked us to be easier to find, easier to reach and able to offer more. Our Hollybank shop served us well, and it’s where our Hythe store put down its roots. But as the business grew, the shop started to hold us back.
Outgrowing our Hollybank shop
Hollybank is a lovely residential area, but it sits away from the centre of Hythe. For many people, getting to us meant a special trip. That’s fine for loyal regulars who already knew where we were, but it made it harder for new customers to find us, and harder for smokers who wanted to quit to drop in on the off chance.
Space was the other issue. Our range of e-liquids, pod kits and accessories kept growing, and so did demand for private, unhurried stop smoking consultations. We needed more room to display stock properly and to sit down with customers in comfort.
Why the main town of Hythe?
The Marsh is one of the busiest streets in Hythe. It’s close to the shops, the post office, the marina and the waterfront. Being in the main town puts our new Hythe vape store where people already are.
That matters for three reasons:
- Visibility. People walking through Hythe now pass our door every day. More people know we exist, and more smokers know where to get help.
- Accessibility. The Marsh is easier to reach by bus, by car and on foot, with parking close by. For customers with limited mobility, a short trip into town is far easier than a detour out to Hollybank.

Our new Hythe vape store opened just as the biggest change to UK vaping law in a decade came into force, and we’re fully prepared. The Tobacco and Vapes Act rules that started on 29 October 2026 apply in every one of our shops and online.
Here’s what that means when you visit us:
- 18+ for everything. All vapes, including 0mg e-liquids, and all nicotine products such as pouches can only be sold to adults aged 18 and over.
- Challenge 25. If you look under 25, we’ll ask for photo ID. Please don’t be offended; it’s the law, and it protects young people.
- No proxy sales. We won’t sell to an adult we believe is buying for someone under 18. Buying for under-18s is now an offence for the buyer as well as the shop.
- No free samples or giveaways. We can’t hand out free tasters or free gifts any more. What we can still give you, for free, is honest advice on any flavour or device.
- Fair bundle prices. Our multi-buy bundle prices continue, structured to fit the new rules.
