Vaporesso XROS COREX 2.0 0.4 Ohm Mesh Pods: The RDL XROS Pod
These Vaporesso XROS COREX 2.0 mesh pods are the 0.4Ω version – the pod that first gave the XROS a restricted direct-to-lung draw. Vaporesso introduced it with the XROS Pro, promising denser clouds, a smoother taste and a stronger throat hit than the tighter XROS pods. Four to a pack, coil built in.
This is the one XROS pod you can’t put in just any XROS. Vaporesso lists the 0.4Ω for a specific set of devices, and some popular models don’t run it. We set out that list below, with the wattage, the right e-liquid and how the COREX 2.0 core differs from COREX 3.0.

XROS 0.4 Ohm Pod Wattage
Vaporesso rates the 0.4Ω XROS pod at a best wattage of 25W. On the XROS 5, 5 Nano, 6, 6 Mini, Pro and Pro 2, fitting this pod unlocks fine power adjustment in 0.5W steps – on the XROS 5 that runs from 15W to 30W.

Which XROS Devices Take the 0.4 Ohm Pod?
Vaporesso’s own device pages list the 0.4Ω for the XROS 4, XROS 4 Mini, XROS 4 Nano, XROS Pro, XROS Pro 2, XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, XROS 5 Nano, XROS 6 and XROS 6 Mini. We only claim those.
The Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini Vape Kit is the XROS we stock that Vaporesso lists for this 0.4Ω pod. Other listed models include the Vaporesso XROS 6 Pod Kit, XROS 6 Mini, XROS 4 and XROS 4 Nano, and the Vaporesso XROS Pro – the kit this RDL pod launched with. On the adjustable models, fitting the 0.4Ω unlocks fine power control around its 25W best setting.
Will not fit: the XROS Cube (listed for 0.6Ω–1.2Ω only), the first XROS Mini, or older XROS, XROS 2, XROS 3 and XROS Nano models, which predate this pod and don’t list it. It also doesn’t fit LUXE X, LUXE Q or ECO NANO devices.
Filling the 0.4 Ohm XROS Pod
- Pull the pod from the device.
- Open the clamshell cap on the top.
- Fill to roughly 90% so there’s room for air.
- Close the cap firmly and dry the base before refitting.
- Let a new pod stand for five minutes before the first puff, then start near 25W.
How Long Does a Pod Last?
Vaporesso credits COREX 2.0 with 30% longer pod life than the earlier core, and its store figure for XROS pods is six to eight refills, or about one to two weeks of daily use. At 25W the 0.4Ω works harder than the MTL pods, so expect the lower end of that. Replace it when the flavour goes flat.
