Description
Vaporesso ARMOUR S Kit: 100W Single 21700 Mod with iTank 2
The Vaporesso ARMOUR S puts the toughness of the ARMOUR MAX into a single-battery mod: 5–100W from one 21700 or 18650 cell, a full TPU shell around mod and tank, and the same AXON chip with F(t), Pulse, Eco and temperature control. At 41.9mm wide it sits far more comfortably in the hand than the dual-cell MAX, and 100W covers every GTi coil, including the 0.15Ω at 75–90W.
In the box you get Vaporesso’s iTank 2 with two GTi mesh coils, 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω; you add one battery. Below: specs, which battery to use, coils and tanks, setup, troubleshooting, the ARMOUR S against the ARMOUR ULTRA, colours and what’s in the box.

Which Coils and Tanks Fit the ARMOUR S?
The ARMOUR S kit is a GTi-coil setup from end to end.
Coils for the iTank 2 are our Vaporesso GTi mesh coils. We stock the 0.15Ω (75–90W), 0.2Ω (60–75W), 0.4Ω (50–60W) and 0.5Ω (30–40W), and the S has the power for every one of them.
When the tank itself needs replacing, choose the original Vaporesso iTank 2 tank or the newer Vaporesso iTank T tank, which Vaporesso now supplies in its ARMOUR S iTank T kit. The iTank T moves the airflow to the top and takes the same GTi coils.
Will not fit: GTX coils, which are for the ARMOUR G pod and Vaporesso’s GTX tanks.

Getting Started with the ARMOUR S
- Open the battery door with its release button and drop in a charged 21700 – or an 18650 inside the sleeve – with the positive end matching the marking.
- Press the iTank 2’s top cap so the fill port springs open, fill it and snap it shut. The GTi 0.2Ω coil is already in place.
- Wait five minutes so the coil’s cotton is soaked through.
- Choose a mode, then dial in about 60W for the 0.2Ω or 50W for the 0.4Ω.
- Fire with the Uni-Lock button, and lock it before it goes into a pocket.
ARMOUR S Battery Life
With one cell doing all the work, the S won’t match the MAX for time between swaps, but it’s slimmer and easier to carry. A 21700 on the GTi 0.4Ω in the mid-50s will see many vapers through most of a day; the 0.2Ω at 70W empties it sooner. Eco mode helps stretch a charge, and a second charged cell in your bag removes the worry entirely.
ARMOUR S Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| No power | Check the battery is charged, the right way round, and the door is shut. |
| Tank won’t open to fill | Press the top of the iTank 2 firmly; the port opens automatically. |
| Spitting from the drip tip | Don’t overfill, take slower draws and check the coil is fully screwed in. |
| Burnt hit | Soak new coils for five minutes and keep the 0.4Ω within 50–60W. |
| Short battery life | Use a 21700 rather than an 18650, lower the wattage or try Eco mode. |

Vaporesso says the ULTRA is 25% smaller and 25% lighter than the S. Want double the cells and 220W? See the ARMOUR MAX kit. Want no cells at all? The ARMOUR ULTRA has its battery built in.
Which Battery for the ARMOUR S?
Vaporesso designed the S around a single 21700, with an 18650 sleeve inside for smaller cells. One cell has to do all the work at 60–75W, so choose a high-drain cell from a reputable brand in our vape batteries range, and don’t reuse a cell with a damaged wrap. You can charge the cell in the mod over Type-C at 5V/2A, or keep a spare charging in one of our external battery chargers.
ARMOUR S Colours
Nine finishes on Vaporesso’s list: Black, Green, Orange, Silver, Yellow, Camo Blue, Camo Brown, Cyber Gold and Cyber Blue. Camo Blue and Black are in stock now; the colour options above update live.

What’s in the Box
One ARMOUR S mod, an iTank 2, a GTi 0.2Ω mesh coil (fitted), a GTi 0.4Ω mesh coil, a spare glass tube, a tank protector (fitted), O-rings, an 18650 sleeve inside the mod, a Type-C cable and the user manual. No battery.
Best E-Liquids for the ARMOUR S
Fill the iTank 2 with a high-VG shortfill at 3mg or 6mg. Freebase is the right choice on sub-ohm GTi coils; nic salts are best kept for mouth-to-lung pod kits. Our guide to nic salts vs freebase nicotine explains why.
