Description
Innokin Zlide Tank: a 2ml Child-Lock Slide-Fill Tank for Z Coils
The Innokin Zlide is a 2ml, 22.7mm tank that takes Innokin’s whole Z coil range. Its trick is the fill: take the mouthpiece off and the top cap slides open; put the mouthpiece back and the cap is locked shut. That’s how Innokin makes it child-resistant.
Air comes in at the base, and Innokin designed it mainly for mouth-to-lung vaping. On the Zlide’s own page it lists the 0.48Ω Plex3D mesh coil at 13–16W, but any Z coil fits, so you can set it up for anything from a tight draw to a looser restricted lung.

Which Z Coil for the Zlide?
Every Z coil fits. These are Innokin’s ratings for the ones we stock; Innokin also makes a 1.0Ω and a 1.6Ω.
| Z coil | Wattage (Innokin) | Draw | Build |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.3Ω | 30–40W | RDL | Kanthal mesh |
| 0.48Ω | 13–16W | MTL | Plex3D mesh |
| 0.5Ω | 14–19W | MTL | Plexus mesh |
| 0.6Ω | 9–13W | MTL | DuoPrime |
| 0.8Ω | 15–18W | MTL | Kanthal |
| 1.2Ω | 10–14W | MTL | Kanthal |
What Can You Put the Zlide On?
The Zlide has a standard 510 connection and is 22.7mm across, so it suits any 510 mod with room for a 22mm tank. Match the coil to your mod’s power: the Z coils run from 9W up to 40W.
Every coil in our Innokin Z coils range fits the Zlide, and if the glass ever breaks, our Innokin Zlide 2ml glass is the replacement. For a mod to put it on, the Innokin Coolfire Z80 NEX kit runs 6–80W on a single 18650, enough for every Z coil.
How to Fill the Zlide and Change the Coil
- Pull the mouthpiece off: the top cap stays locked until you do.
- Slide the top cap open. Innokin suggests closing the airflow while you fill.
- Fill down the side of the glass, slide the cap shut and refit the mouthpiece.
- To change the coil, empty the tank, unscrew it from the base and swap the Z coil, which pushes in.
- Prime a new coil with a few drops through its side holes, and give it a few minutes before your first puff.
How Long Does the Zlide Last?
The tank itself lasts; the coil is the part you replace. The glass is replaceable too, so a crack doesn’t mean a new tank – our Zlide 2ml glass fits.
Zlide Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| The top cap won’t slide | That’s the child lock. Take the mouthpiece off first. |
| Leaking from the base | The airflow was open while you filled, or the coil isn’t pushed in fully. |
| Burnt taste from a new coil | It wasn’t primed. Prime the next one and wait a few minutes. |
| Draw too loose | Use a higher-resistance MTL coil, such as the 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω. |
Best E-Liquids for the Zlide
Innokin says the Zlide works well with 50/50 and 70/30 e-liquids. On the MTL coils, use nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid. Save the higher-VG liquids for the 0.3Ω.
