SMOK RPM160 Mesh Coils: 0.15 Ohm for the RPM160 Pod
SMOK RPM160 mesh coils are the 0.15Ω honeycomb-mesh coils for the RPM160, SMOK’s dual-18650 pod mod. SMOK packs them three to a box and rates them at 80W for direct-lung vaping. The RPM160 pod runs two of these side by side, which is why this is a high-power coil rather than a pod-style one.
Despite the RPM in the name, this is its own coil series. It doesn’t fit RPM, RPM 2 or RPM 3 pods, and those coils don’t fit the RPM160 pod. SMOK also made a V9 pod for the RPM160 that takes V9 meshed coils instead – so check which of the two pods you are running.

Which Pod Does the RPM160 Mesh Coil Fit?
SMOK lists the RPM160 Mesh coil for one kit: the RPM160, in its standard RPM160 pod, which holds two coils.
The RPM160 isn’t a device we sell; these coils are for owners of the kit. Running the RPM160’s V9 pod instead? That pod takes V9 meshed coils, not these.
Will not fit: the RPM160 V9 pod (it takes V9 meshed coils), or any RPM, RPM 2 or RPM 3 pod.
How to Fit and Prime RPM160 Coils
- Open the RPM160 pod and remove both used coils – always change them as a pair.
- Wet each new coil’s cotton through its wicking holes.
- Press both coils into place so they sit evenly.
- SMOK puts the rubber fill plug on top of this pod, so you can fill it without removing it. Fill, close and wait five minutes.
- Fire at 60W first and work up towards 80W.
How Long Does an RPM160 Coil Last?
Running two mesh coils at up to 80W uses e-liquid and cotton quickly, so expect less life than a pod coil. Changing both at once keeps the flavour even; a fresh coil paired with a worn one tastes muddy. SMOK gives no lifespan figure.
