Description
Innokin T18E Coils: Prism Coils for the Endura T18 2 and T18E
Innokin T18E coils – boxed as Prism T18E coils – are the 1.5Ω horizontal heads for Innokin’s Endura T18 2, T18E and T22E, five to a pack. They’re the replacement coil for our Innokin Endura T18 2 kit, which ships with two of them.
The T18E is the shorter version of Innokin’s original Prism T18 coil. The two look alike but they are not interchangeable, and it’s an easy mistake to make, so the fitment section and comparison table below set out which Endura takes which.

Which Endura Kits and Prism Tanks Take T18E Coils?
The Prism T18E coil fits the Prism T18E, T18E Pro and T18 II tanks, and the Endura T18E, T18 2, T18 2 Mini, T18 X, T22E, T22 Pro (UK version) and M18 kits.
The Innokin Endura T18 2 Kit comes with two T18E coils in its 2ml Prism T18 II tank, and these are its like-for-like replacements. Its three power settings – 10.5W, 12W and 13.5W – all sit within this coil’s comfortable range, and its supported resistance of 1.2–3.9Ω covers the 1.5Ω with room to spare.
The same coil fits the standalone Innokin Prism T18 II tank and the Innokin Prism T18E tank when we have them in.
Will not fit: the original Prism T18 tank or Endura T18 kit, or the Prism T22 and Endura T22 – those take the longer Innokin Prism T18 coil. The Prism S tanks (Endura T20-S, EZ.Watt, Apex) use Innokin Prism S coils, and the original Prism T20 takes its own Prism T20 coil.
How to Fit and Prime a T18E Coil
- Unscrew the tank from the Endura battery.
- Unscrew the tank base – Innokin’s Prism tanks are designed so the coil comes out without spilling the e-liquid.
- Unscrew the old coil from the base and screw in a new one.
- Wet each of the wick holes with a drop or two of e-liquid.
- Refit the base, top up if needed and leave it five minutes before your first puff on the Cool setting.
How Long Does a T18E Coil Last?
Innokin doesn’t publish a lifespan for the T18E. Its general advice holds: prime well, keep the tank topped up so the wick never runs dry, and stay within the coil’s power. At the T18 2’s 10.5–13.5W, a 1.5Ω coil is gentle on its cotton, so heavy sweeteners are the main thing that shortens it. Change it when the flavour goes flat or picks up a burnt edge.
T18E Coil Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| New coil won’t seal or sits too high | It’s probably an original T18 coil, which is longer. The Endura T18 2 and T18E need the T18E. |
| Gurgling | Liquid in the airflow. Remove the tank, blow gently through the base and don’t overfill. |
| Burnt taste on a fresh coil | Fired too soon. Prime the wick holes and wait the full five minutes. |
| Leaking at the base | Check the O-rings and that the base is screwed down fully. |
T18E Coil vs the Original Prism T18 Coil
| Prism T18E (this page) | Prism T18 | |
|---|---|---|
| Resistance | 1.5Ω | 1.5Ω |
| Length | Shorter | Longer |
| Tanks | Prism T18E, T18E Pro, T18 II | Original Prism T18 and T22 |
| Kits | Endura T18 2, T18E, T18 X, T22E, T22 Pro (UK), M18 | Original Endura T18 and T22 |
Innokin’s T18 II page mentions a “T18/T22 coil”, but the kit ships with T18E coils, and that’s the coil we sell for it.
Best E-Liquids for T18E Coils
The T18E is an MTL coil, happiest with 50/50 or higher-PG liquid. For most people that means 10mg or 20mg nic salts, or 50/50 freebase e-liquids between 6mg and 18mg. Thick high-VG shortfills wick too slowly for it and are the usual cause of early burnt coils.
