Description

Aspire PockeX AIO Vape Pen: 1500mAh, Top Fill, U-Tech Coils

The Aspire PockeX is an all-in-one vape pen: battery and 2ml tank in a single 117.7mm stainless steel tube, with one button and nothing else to learn. Five clicks switches it on or off, a 1500mAh battery sits inside, and the top cap unscrews for filling so the base stays dry. It’s a proven design that has been in vape shops for years.

Unlike a pod kit, the PockeX uses replaceable coils: Aspire’s U-Tech design in 0.6Ω stainless steel for more vapour, or 1.2Ω Kanthal for a tighter draw with higher-strength liquid. Below: specs, which coil to buy, filling and priming, the battery light, spare parts and FAQs.

Aspire PockeX Specifications

Aspire’s figures for the PockeX and its two coils:

Specification PockeX
Battery 1500mAh built-in
Charging Type-C (early versions used micro USB)
Output Bypass (direct battery output)
Firing Button; five clicks on or off
Tank 2ml, stainless steel with a Pyrex glass tube
Filling Top fill under the screw-off cap
Coils 0.6Ω 316L stainless, 18–20W; 1.2Ω Kanthal, 10–12W
Airflow Top airflow, wider Delrin drip tip
Size and weight 117.7 x 19.7mm, 86g
White Vape Co recommends: choose the 1.2Ω coil for 20mg nic salts and a cigarette-style draw – Aspire itself pitches it at higher-nicotine liquid. The 0.6Ω the PockeX ships with is a looser, restricted-lung vape that’s better with 3mg–6mg freebase or 10mg salts.
Aspire PockeX coils: 0.6 ohm stainless steel and 1.2 ohm Kanthal

Which Coils and Parts Fit the Aspire PockeX?

The PockeX takes Aspire’s PockeX U-Tech coils, and we stock the spare parts that most often need replacing.

Replacement heads are Aspire PockeX coils (5 pack). Aspire rates the 0.6Ω stainless coil at 18–20W and the 1.2Ω Kanthal at 10–12W; the PockeX’s bypass output drives either with no setting to change.

For accidents, we stock PockeX replacement glass with its metal sleeve and a PockeX replacement top. Starting from scratch? The Aspire PockeX AIO bundle deal puts the kit, a coil five-pack and e-liquid in one box.

Will not fit: Aspire lists the PockeX coil for the PockeX only, so we don’t recommend BVC, Nautilus X or other Aspire heads in it.

Filling and Priming the PockeX

  1. Charge over Type-C; the button light shows blue above 30% and red below.
  2. Unscrew the top cap and fill down the side of the tank, keeping liquid out of the centre tube.
  3. Screw the cap back on firmly.
  4. Let the coil soak before firing – Aspire says around 2–3 minutes, longer for thicker liquids. With a brand-new coil we give it five.
  5. Click the button five times to switch on, then press and hold it while you inhale.

PockeX Battery and Coil Life

The 1500mAh battery is large for a slim pen, and with bypass output there’s no wattage to push it harder, so a charge covers a full day for most of our customers. The light in the button is the only gauge: blue means more than 30% left, red means it’s time to charge. Coil life depends on your liquid and how much you vape; change the coil once the flavour dulls or it tastes burnt.

PockeX Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause and fix
Burnt taste with a new coil It wasn’t primed. Let every new coil soak before the first puff.
No vapour Switch on with five clicks, charge if the light shows red, and check the coil is screwed in.
Gurgling Liquid got into the centre tube. Remove the drip tip, blow gently through a tissue and fill down the side next time.
Cracked glass The glass is replaceable – see the spare parts above.

PockeX vs Endura T18 II

Aspire PockeX Innokin Endura T18 II
Battery 1500mAh 1300mAh
Output Bypass 10.5, 12 or 13.5W
Coils 0.6Ω and 1.2Ω U-Tech 1.5Ω Prism
Charging Type-C Micro-USB

Both are proven pen kits. The Innokin Endura T18 II is MTL-only with three heat settings, while the PockeX’s 0.6Ω coil opens up to a looser draw.

Best E-Liquids for the PockeX

With the 1.2Ω coil, use 10–20mg nic salts or 50/50 freebase. With the 0.6Ω, lower strengths suit better – 3mg or 6mg freebase from our 10ml e-liquids. Our guide to nic salts vs freebase explains why the stronger salts belong on the higher-resistance coil.
