Innokin Zlide Top Tank: a 2ml Top-Airflow Tank for Z Coils
The Innokin Zlide Top is the top-airflow version of the Zlide: a 2ml tank with a sliding top-fill cap, adjustable airflow from the top, and room for Innokin’s whole Z coil range. UK stockists describe the top airflow as the answer to base leaks.
It comes with two Z coils: a 0.6Ω DuoPrime fitted and a 0.3Ω spare. Between them they cover a mouth-to-lung draw and a looser restricted lung, so it suits more vaping styles than the original Zlide.

What Can You Put the Zlide Top On?
Any 510 mod that can run the coil you choose. The Z coils span 9W to 40W, so a low-power mod suits the MTL coils, and the 0.3Ω needs a mod that reaches 30W or more.

How to Fill the Zlide Top and Change the Coil
- Slide the top cap to reveal the fill port.
- Fill down the side of the glass, then slide the cap closed.
- To change the coil, empty the tank, unscrew it from the base and swap the Z coil, which pushes in.
- Prime a new coil with a few drops through its side holes.
- Wait a few minutes, then set the top airflow and start at the bottom of the coil’s range.
How Long Does the Zlide Top Last?
The tank lasts; the coil is the part you replace. The 0.3Ω at 30–40W wears faster than the MTL coils, so keep spares if you use it.
Zlide Top Troubleshooting

Best E-Liquids for the Zlide Top
On the 0.6Ω DuoPrime and other MTL coils, nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid. On the 0.3Ω, a higher-VG freebase at 3mg or 6mg: a shortfill e-liquid works well.
