Description

OXVA ONEO Pods: Side-Fill Cartridges for the ONEO and ONEO PRO

The OXVA ONEO pods are OXVA’s ONEO Cartridge, the side-fill pod for the OXVA ONEO Pod Kit. They come three to a pack with the coil built in, in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, and OXVA’s wattage for them runs from 14W on the 0.8Ω to 34W on the 0.4Ω.

A clear check window with a MIN line shows how much e-liquid is left, so you can refill before the coil runs dry. OXVA describes the cartridge as part of its highly leak-proof Unicoil series and says it suits both nic salts and freebase. Below: which resistance to choose, where it fits, how to refill it, and how it compares with our OXVA ONEO XL pods.

ONEO Pod 0.4 vs 0.6 vs 0.8 Ohm

OXVA’s store gives a wattage band for each resistance, and its ONEO graphic sets them on a scale from direct lung (0.4Ω) to mouth-to-lung (0.8Ω). The ONEO’s side airflow control covers the same MTL-to-DTL range, so set it to match the pod.

Resistance Wattage Where OXVA places it Suits
0.4Ω 28–34W The DTL end of the scale Low-strength freebase and more vapour
0.6Ω 20–26W Between the two Our everyday pick – nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or 50/50 freebase
0.8Ω 14–18W The MTL end of the scale Nic salts with a tighter draw
White Vape Co recommends: the 0.6Ω is where most ONEO owners should start: fuller flavour than the 0.8Ω and comfortable with 10mg or 20mg nic salts. Go to the 0.8Ω for the tightest draw, or the 0.4Ω with the airflow opened up if you want clouds on low-strength freebase.

Which Devices Do ONEO Pods Fit?

OXVA lists the ONEO cartridge for two devices: the ONEO and the ONEO PRO.

The pod is made for the OXVA ONEO Pod Kit, which OXVA ships with an 0.8Ω and an 0.4Ω cartridge, so these packs let you replace either or try the 0.6Ω in between. The ONEO PRO takes the same cartridge. OXVA’s one caveat is that the cartridges swap between the two devices but their top caps do not, so keep each cap with its own device.

Will not fit: XLIM, NeXlim or VPRIME devices – OXVA doesn’t list it for any of them, and each has its own pods, such as the XLIM V3 replacement pods.

How to Refill a ONEO Pod

  1. Take the cartridge out of the ONEO.
  2. Open the refill port on the side of the cartridge.
  3. Fill slowly, watching the check window, and stop a little short of the top.
  4. Close the port fully, wipe the cartridge and refit it.
  5. Refill when the level nears the MIN line rather than letting it run dry. OXVA gives no soak time; we’d leave a new pod a few minutes before vaping.

How Long Does a Pod Last?

OXVA doesn’t publish a pod life for the ONEO. In our experience the 0.8Ω lasts longest and the 0.4Ω wears fastest, and heavily sweetened liquids shorten any of them. The check window is your friend here: the quickest way to kill a built-in coil is to keep vaping once the level has dropped below the MIN line.

ONEO Pod Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause and fix
Burnt taste The level fell below the MIN line, or the pod is worn out. Refill sooner, and replace a worn pod.
Leaking from the side The refill port isn’t closed all the way. Press it home and leave a small air gap.
Top cap won’t fit It’s from the other ONEO model. OXVA says the top caps don’t interchange between the ONEO and ONEO PRO.
Gurgling Take the pod out, wrap the mouthpiece in tissue and give it a firm flick.
Weak flavour on the 0.8Ω Nudge the wattage up within 14–18W, or try the 0.6Ω.

ONEO Pods vs ONEO XL Pods

Size Standard OXVA’s larger version

Coil, wattage and fit are identical, so the choice is only about the size of the pod. See the OXVA ONEO XL replacement pods.

Best E-Liquids for These Pods

OXVA’s preferred e-liquids for the ONEO are nic salts and freebase. On the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, both nic salts and 50/50 freebase from our 10ml e-liquids work well; OXVA’s own Ox Passion nic salts come from the same company. On the 0.4Ω, go lower on nicotine, because the extra vapour carries more per puff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do ONEO pods fit the ONEO PRO?

Yes. OXVA says the cartridges are compatible across the ONEO and ONEO PRO, but the top caps are not interchangeable.

Which ONEO pod is best for nic salts?

The 0.6Ω for fuller flavour, or the 0.8Ω for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw.

Is the ONEO coil replaceable?

No. It is built into each pod, so you replace the pod.

What is the MIN line for?

It marks the lowest level OXVA wants the e-liquid to fall to. Refill before you reach it to protect the coil.

How many pods are in a pack?

Three.
