Lost Vape UB Lite Coils: Mesh Coils for the Thelema Mini, UB Lite and Ursa Mini

Lost Vape UB Lite coils are push-fit mesh coils from Lost Vape’s UB Lite platform, five to a pack. Lost Vape created them for the UB Lite Pod Kit, and they also run in the Ursa Mini and in the UB Lite tanks on the Thelema Mini 45W kit.

We list six of them, from the 0.3Ω L7 for a lung hit to the 1.2Ω L8 for MTL. Each coil carries an L number as well as a resistance, and the table below matches them up. One thing to know before you buy: despite the similar names, UB Lite coils don’t fit Lost Vape’s Ursa cartridges or the Ursa Pocket.

UB Lite Coil Resistances and Wattage

Lost Vape’s own figures cover the L1, L3 and L6. The starred wattages come from UK stockists, because Lost Vape hasn’t published them, and we’ve left the L10 blank rather than guess. Lost Vape labels the L3 for DL while retailers sell it as MTL, so treat it as a middle-ground coil. There’s also a 1.4Ω L5 (8–10W), which we don’t list.

Which Devices Take Lost Vape UB Lite Coils?

Lost Vape lists the UB Lite Pod Kit and the Ursa Mini Pod Kit as applicable products, and the Thelema Mini 45W kit uses UB Lite coils in its UB Lite Tank and UB Lite Pod Tank.

Of these devices, we’ve sold the Lost Vape Thelema Mini kit, which is currently out of stock. Lost Vape says it takes two types of UB Lite coil across its UB Lite Tank and UB Lite Pod Tank, runs from 11W to 45W, and that the newer 0.3, 0.6 and 1.2Ω mesh coils are fully compatible with older devices that support UB Lite coils.

Will not fit: the Lost Vape Ursa Pocket or the Lost Vape Ursa Cap, which use Ursa cartridges with the coil built in (see our Ursa Nano V2 replacement pods). UB Mini and UB Pro coils are separate Lost Vape platforms, not UB Lite.

How to Fit and Prime a UB Lite Coil

1. Take the pod or tank off the device and pull the old coil straight out – UB Lite coils push in.
2. Drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the cotton through the new coil’s side window.
3. Push the coil in firmly, then fill the pod or tank.
4. Leave it five minutes to soak. Lost Vape doesn’t publish a soak time; this is our advice.
5. The Ursa Mini detects the coil for you; on other devices, start at the bottom of the coil’s range.

How Long Does a UB Lite Coil Last?

Lost Vape says its newer L7 (0.3Ω), L10 (0.6Ω) and L8 (1.2Ω) mesh coils last 100% longer than the previous generation. It doesn’t put that in days, and we won’t either. As a guide, the low-power MTL coils outlast the L7 at 40W, and sweet liquids shorten any coil.

Best E-Liquids for UB Lite Coils

Lost Vape pitches UB Lite coils for RDL and MTL, and the Thelema Mini runs from about 11W for nic salts up to 45W for freebase. On the L3, L6 and L8, 10mg or 20mg nic salts are the natural match. On the L1 and L7, use a 50/50 or higher-VG freebase e-liquid at 3mg to 6mg.
