Description

Aspire Cleito Coils: 0.2, 0.27 and 0.4 Ohm for the Cleito Tank

Aspire Cleito coils are the sub-ohm replacement heads for Aspire’s Cleito tank, five to a pack, in three resistances: 0.2Ω, 0.27Ω and 0.4Ω. They need a mod that can deliver 40W or more.

Aspire also lists them for its Cleito EXO and Cleito Pro tanks. Our old page only gave a wattage for the 0.2Ω; the table below has Aspire’s range for all three.

Cleito Coil Resistances and Wattage

Aspire’s ratings from its Cleito coil page. Aspire also makes a stainless steel 0.4Ω for temperature control: if your box says SS316L, Aspire rates that one at 55–65W.

Resistance Wattage (Aspire) Notes
0.2Ω 55–70W The most vapour, and needs the most power
0.27Ω 40–55W Aspire approves it for the Cleito on the K4
0.4Ω 40–60W The widest range, and a good starting coil
White Vape Co recommends: if you’re not sure, start with the 0.27Ω at around 45W. It sits in the middle of the range, and it’s the one Aspire approves for the Cleito on its K4 kit. Choose the 0.2Ω for the biggest clouds if your mod runs comfortably at 55–70W.

Which Tanks Take Aspire Cleito Coils?

The Cleito tank, plus the Cleito EXO and Cleito Pro, which Aspire lists as compatible. Running a Cleito on Aspire’s K4? Aspire says to use the 0.27Ω: it doesn’t recommend the 0.2Ω or 0.4Ω on the K4, because they don’t match its output.

We don’t currently stock a Cleito tank or the K4, so this pack is for existing Cleito, Cleito EXO and Cleito Pro owners. Our Aspire range shows what we carry.

Will not fit: the Cleito 120 or Cleito 120 Pro – Aspire makes separate coils for those.

How to Change and Prime a Cleito Coil

  1. Take the tank off your mod and empty it.
  2. Open the tank and remove the old coil.
  3. Wet the cotton through the new coil’s wicking holes, and add a few drops to the top.
  4. Fit the new coil, reassemble the tank and fill it.
  5. Wait about five minutes, then start at the bottom of the coil’s range and work up.

How Long Does a Cleito Coil Last?

Aspire doesn’t publish a figure. These coils run at 40W and more, so they work harder than a mouth-to-lung head: sweet e-liquids and chain vaping at the top of the range shorten them. Swap when the flavour dulls or a dry note appears.

Cleito Coil Troubleshooting

Problem Likely cause and fix
Dry hits The wattage is above the coil’s range, or the liquid can’t keep up. Drop 5W and take longer breaks between puffs.
Spitting or gurgling The wattage is too low, or the coil has flooded. Go up a few watts and clear it with short draws without firing.
Harsh throat hit The nicotine is too strong for sub-ohm vaping. Use 3mg or 6mg.
Coils burn quickly on a K4 Use the 0.27Ω, the only Cleito coil Aspire recommends for the K4.

Best E-Liquids for Cleito Coils

These are sub-ohm coils, so use a high-VG freebase at 3mg or 6mg: a shortfill e-liquid with a nicotine shot is the usual choice. Nic salts are too strong at this power.
