Description
OXVA XLIM C Coils: 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 Ohm Mesh Coils for the XLIM C
OXVA XLIM C coils are the replaceable mesh coils for OXVA’s XLIM C pod kit, five to a pack. The rest of the XLIM range uses pods with the coil built in; the XLIM C uses a refillable cartridge with a separate coil, so you replace the coil, not the whole pod.
OXVA makes them in three resistances, all KA1 mesh: 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω. The XLIM C has Low, Medium and High power levels that OXVA says automatically match the coil you fit.

XLIM C Coil Wattage
OXVA’s own ratings, from its coil and cartridge specification. The XLIM C tops out at 25W, so all three sit comfortably inside its range.
| Resistance | Wattage (OXVA) | Draw (OXVA) |

| 0.8Ω | 13–17W | MTL |
| 1.2Ω | 8–12W | MTL |
What Do XLIM C Coils Fit?
The XLIM C’s own refillable cartridge. OXVA lists these coils against the XLIM C cartridge, and the XLIM C takes coils from 0.45 to 3.0Ω.
We don’t currently stock the XLIM C kit, so this pack is for existing owners of the XLIM C.
Will not fit: any other XLIM or any NeXlim. The rest of the XLIM range uses pods with the coil built in, such as our OXVA XLIM V3 replacement pods, and those don’t fit the XLIM C.
How to Change an XLIM C Coil
- Pull the cartridge out of the XLIM C.
- Remove the old coil from the cartridge.
- Wet the new coil’s cotton through its wicking holes with a few drops of e-liquid, and add a drop to the top.
- Fit the new coil and refill through the cartridge’s side fill port.
- Wait a few minutes before your first puff; the XLIM C sets its power level to suit the coil.
How Long Does an XLIM C Coil Last?
OXVA doesn’t publish a coil life. Because you change the coil rather than the whole pod, you keep the cartridge and only replace the part that wears. Sweet, dark e-liquids shorten any coil. Change it when the flavour fades or turns bitter.
XLIM C Coil Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Burnt taste from a new coil | It wasn’t primed, or wasn’t given long enough to soak. Prime the next one and wait. |
| Leaking from the cartridge | The coil isn’t seated fully, or the side fill port isn’t closed. |
| Weak flavour on the 0.8Ω | Try the 0.6Ω, which we recommend with nic salts. |
| The coil won’t fit | It must be an XLIM C cartridge. Other XLIMs use pods with built-in coils. |
Best E-Liquids for XLIM C Coils
All three suit nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid. For the fullest flavour with salts, use the 0.6Ω.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do XLIM C coils fit other XLIM devices?
No. The rest of the XLIM range uses pods with built-in coils. The XLIM C is the one with a separate coil.
What wattage is the XLIM C 0.6 coil?
OXVA rates it at 18–22W.
Which XLIM C coil is best for nic salts?
We recommend the 0.6Ω for the fullest flavour. The 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω give a tighter, cooler draw.
How many coils are in a pack?
Five.
Does the XLIM C use pods or coils?
Both: a refillable cartridge with a separate, replaceable coil. OXVA calls it a side-refill cartridge.
