SMOK V8 X-Baby X4 Coils: 0.13 Ohm Quadruple Coil
The SMOK V8 X-Baby X4 coil is a 0.13Ω quadruple-coil core for the TFV8 X-Baby tank. SMOK describes a cool and silky taste and rates it 30–70W, best at 45–60W. It’s the lowest resistance of the X-Baby coils we carry.
Watch the name. SMOK also makes a V8 Baby X4, which is 0.15Ω and fits the TFV8 Baby family – not the X-Baby. The two look alike on the shelf and the box, so check for ‘X-Baby’ and 0.13Ω before you open the pack.

Which Tank Takes the X-Baby X4?
SMOK’s compatibility table lists the V8 X-Baby coil series – the Q2, X4, T6, M2 and RBA – for one product: the TFV8 X-Baby tank. No other SMOK tank or kit appears against these coils.
For a warmer vape in the same tank, the SMOK V8 X-Baby Q2 is the alternative. Both are for owners – we don’t currently sell the X-Baby tank.
Will not fit: any TFV8 Baby, Big Baby or TFV12 Baby Prince (those take V8 Baby cores), the TFV8 Baby V2 / TFV Mini V2, or the full-size TFV8.
How to Fit and Prime an X-Baby X4
- Drain the X-Baby, take it off the mod and unscrew the base.
- Unscrew the used X4 and check the new box says X-Baby.
- Wet all four coils’ cotton through the side holes.
- Screw the head in, rebuild and fill.
- Leave five minutes; start at 40W.
How Long Does an X-Baby X4 Coil Last?
Four coils share the load at a modest 45–60W, so the X4 usually holds its flavour well for a week or more. It will go sooner if you run it at 70W or use very sweet liquids. SMOK gives no figure.

A high-VG freebase at 3mg suits a 0.13Ω coil: our shortfill e-liquids with a nicotine shot are the usual pairing. Our old copy suggested 70% VG and above, which is sensible but not a SMOK instruction.
