Uwell Nunchaku Coils: UN2 Meshed-H 0.2 Ohm
These Uwell Nunchaku coils are the UN2 Meshed-H 0.2Ω heads: a FeCrAl honeycomb mesh rated at 50–60W, four to a pack. Uwell made them for the Nunchaku tank and fitted the same coil in the Nunchaku 2.
Uwell also made a stainless steel UN2 at 0.14Ω for temperature control, and older claptonised Nunchaku coils at 0.25Ω and 0.4Ω. This pack is the 0.2Ω FeCrAl mesh, for normal power mode.

Which Tanks Do UN2 Nunchaku Coils Fit?
Uwell lists the UN2 Meshed-H for the Nunchaku Tank and the Nunchaku 2 Tank, and it came in both kits.
The Nunchaku 2 tank shipped with the 0.2Ω UN2 already fitted and a 0.14Ω spare. It has a plug-pull coil change and a quarter-turn top cap with a silicone check valve on the fill holes. The original Nunchaku tank and Nunchaku kit take the same head. Uwell no longer lists the Nunchaku range, which is why we keep spares for owners.
Will not fit: the Nunchaku RDA, the Valyrian tanks or the Whirl S. We sell the Uwell Nunchaku RDA Kit, but it’s a rebuildable dripper you wire yourself, so it takes no coil head at all. The Valyrian range uses its own coils. The Whirl S coil is also called UN2 Meshed-H, but it is a 0.8Ω head for a different system.
How to Fit and Prime UN2 Nunchaku Coils
- Empty the tank and separate it from the base.
- Pull the old coil out. The UN2 is a plug-pull head, so there’s nothing to unscrew.
- Wet the cotton through the side windows and drip a little liquid down the chimney.
- Push the new coil into place, reassemble, give the top cap a quarter turn and fill.
- Wait five minutes, then vape at 50W for the first few puffs.
How Long Does a Nunchaku Coil Last?
Uwell doesn’t give a figure. FeCrAl mesh at 50–60W typically lasts a week or two with daily use. The self-cleaning atomiser Uwell built into the Nunchaku 2 is there to prevent leaks, not to extend coil life, so the usual rules apply: keep the tank topped up and go easy on very sweet liquids.
UN2 Coil Troubleshooting

Best E-Liquids for Nunchaku Coils
At 50–60W this coil suits high-VG shortfill e-liquids at 3mg, which is what Uwell’s big-cloud Nunchaku tanks were built around. For a lighter hit, try a 50/50 10ml e-liquid at 3mg, but don’t use nic salts at this power.
