Vaporesso CCELL Coil: The Original Gold Ceramic Coil
This Vaporesso CCELL coil is Vaporesso’s original ceramic coil – the gold-bodied CCELL, sold in packs of five. (We’ve listed it as “CCELL SS”, but Vaporesso calls it simply the CCELL coil.) Instead of cotton wrapped round a wire, the heating wire is embedded in a porous ceramic core, made from a patented formula sintered at very high temperature.
It’s an older coil that Vaporesso no longer sells in its own store, so we’ve kept this page to what we can verify. We have the 0.6Ω in stock; the 0.5Ω is currently out.

Which Tanks Does the CCELL Coil Fit?
Vaporesso no longer publishes a tank list for this coil, and we couldn’t confirm one from an official source.
The CCELL name covers several different Vaporesso coils – CCELL-GD, EUC CCELL, GT CCELL2 and NX CCELL all have their own bodies – so the safest check is to compare with the coil you’re replacing: it should be the gold-bodied original. If you’re unsure, bring your tank or old coil into one of our shops and we’ll match it before you buy.
How to Fit and Prime a CCELL Coil
- Match the new coil to the old one: gold body, CCELL marking.
- Screw or push it into your tank’s base the same way the old one came out.
- Ceramic soaks slowly. Drip liquid into the top and leave the filled tank at least ten minutes.
- Start well below the maximum wattage and work up.
How Long Does a CCELL Coil Last?
Vaporesso doesn’t give a figure. Ceramic coils tend to hold their flavour longer than cotton-only coils, but they don’t recover once they burn, so avoid dry hits and chain-vaping.

Best E-Liquids for CCELL Coils
Vaporesso says CCELL suits both nicotine salts and freebase. At sub-ohm power we’d use freebase at 3–6mg, such as a shortfill, and keep 20mg nic salts for MTL coils.
