OBS S1 Coils: 0.6 Ohm Mesh Coils for the OBS Cube Mini
OBS S1 coils are the 0.6Ω mesh coils for the OBS Cube Mini tank – the coil OBS fits in the Cube Mini kit at the factory – sold in packs of five.
Our old description called the device the “OBS mini”; its full name is the OBS Cube Mini. It’s an older kit, so this page keeps to what OBS itself publishes about the coil and leaves out anything we can’t check.

OBS S1 Coil Specifications
OBS’s own spec for the S1. OBS doesn’t give a wattage: the Cube Mini fires at a fixed 3.5V, so there’s nothing to set.

What Does the OBS S1 Coil Fit?
OBS pre-installs the S1 in the Cube Mini kit’s tank, and it’s the replacement coil for that tank.
We don’t currently stock the Cube Mini, so this pack is for existing owners. The rest of our OBS range is on the brand page.
Will not fit: the full-size OBS Cube tank, which uses OBS’s M1 0.2Ω mesh coil. The N1 and NX Cube Mini coils aren’t swaps for the S1 either: they’re higher-resistance nic salt coils that use a different airflow setting.
How to Fit and Prime an OBS S1 Coil
- Empty the Cube Mini tank and unscrew the base.
- Unscrew the old S1 and fit the new one.
- Drop a little e-liquid onto the cotton through the coil’s side holes.
- Reassemble, set the airflow to the big hole and fill. OBS says to close the cap and wait a few minutes before vaping.
How Long Does an OBS S1 Coil Last?
OBS doesn’t publish a lifespan. The Cube Mini’s fixed output keeps the coil working at the same rate every puff, so your e-liquid is the main factor: clear, less sweet flavours last longest.
OBS S1 Coil Troubleshooting

| Tight, weak vapour | The airflow is on the small holes. Turn it to the big hole for the S1. |
| Burnt taste | Not primed, or the tank ran low. Keep it topped up. |
| Leaking | Check the coil is screwed into the base fully. |
Best E-Liquids for OBS S1 Coils
OBS recommends e-liquid or low-concentration nic salt for the S1. In practice: 50/50 freebase e-liquids at 3mg to 12mg, or 10mg nic salts.
