Aspire PockeX coils are the U-Tech coil heads for the Aspire PockeX all-in-one, five to a pack, in the two resistances Aspire makes: a 0.6Ω stainless steel coil and a 1.2Ω Kanthal coil.
We’ve corrected this page. It used to list a 0.7Ω option and wattages of 18–23W and 8–12W. Aspire makes the PockeX coil in 0.6Ω and 1.2Ω only, rated 18–20W and 10–12W, and names the PockeX as the device they’re made for. Below: which to choose, how to change one, and the e-liquid each suits.

PockeX Coil Resistances and Wattage
Aspire’s two PockeX coils. The PockeX fires in bypass mode, straight from the battery, so there’s no wattage to set – the ratings tell you what each coil is designed to handle.

Which Devices Take Aspire PockeX Coils?
Aspire lists the PockeX as the compatible device for both coils. Our old page also named the Nautilus X tank; Aspire doesn’t list it, so we no longer claim it.
The Aspire PockeX Vape Kit (AIO) is the device these coils are made for: a 1500mAh all-in-one with a 2ml top-fill tank that ships with the 0.6Ω coil fitted. The Aspire PockeX AIO bundle deal is built around the same kit, so the same coils fit.

How to Fit and Prime a PockeX Coil
- Switch the PockeX off with five clicks of the button.
- Empty the tank, unscrew the top section and unscrew the used coil.
- Before fitting the new coil, wet the cotton through its side holes and add a drop to the top opening.
- Screw the new coil in, refit the top and fill the 2ml tank.
- Aspire says to let the cotton saturate for about two to three minutes before firing – a little longer with thicker e-liquid.
How Long Does a PockeX Coil Last?
Aspire doesn’t publish a coil life. Because the PockeX fires at the battery’s output rather than a wattage you set, the coil works at a steady rate, so what wears it out is mostly the liquid: sweet, dark flavours and chain vaping shorten it. The signs are the same as any coil – the flavour dulls, then turns burnt. Aspire also points out that PockeX coils have come in old and new packaging, and both are genuine.
PockeX Coil Troubleshooting

0.6 or 1.2: Which PockeX Coil Suits You?
Think about how you smoke or vape now. If you want a draw like a cigarette and you use a stronger e-liquid, the 1.2Ω is the one: a tight draw, less vapour and a coil Aspire recommends for higher nicotine. If you’d rather have more flavour and a looser, airier pull, the 0.6Ω gives you that, and it’s what the kit comes with. Many PockeX owners keep a pack of each.
Best E-Liquids for PockeX Coils
With the 1.2Ω, use 10mg or 20mg nic salts or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid at 12mg to 18mg. With the 0.6Ω, go lower: a 50/50 freebase at 3mg to 6mg. Aspire doesn’t give a VG ratio, so that’s our guidance.
