Aspire K1 Plus Tank: a 1.9ml Mouth-to-Lung 510 Tank for BVC Coils
The Aspire K1 Plus is a slim 510 mouth-to-lung tank that takes Aspire’s BVC coils. The UK version holds 1.9ml and ships with a 1.8Ω BVC coil fitted.
It’s child-resistant at both ends: you push and turn to take the drip tip off and reach the fill hole, and the hole seals itself around the nozzle of your bottle. Pair it with a simple 510 battery for a pen-style kit.

Which BVC Coil for the K1 Plus?
Aspire lists the K1 Plus among the tanks for its general BVC coils. Its ratings, in volts and watts:

What Can You Use the K1 Plus With?
Any 510 battery or mod that can run a 1.6Ω or 1.8Ω coil. Aspire’s K1 Plus FAQ says it takes the original BVC coils for the ET-S and K1, and Spryte coils.
Spare coils are our Aspire BVC coils: both the 1.6Ω and 1.8Ω fit. At 16mm across, the K1 Plus also sits neatly on the Eleaf Mini iStick 20W, a pocket 510 mod that takes tanks up to 16.5mm and runs up to 20W.
Will not fit: Aspire’s Nautilus coils, which Aspire lists for Nautilus-family tanks instead.
How to Fill the K1 Plus and Change the Coil
- Push and turn to take the drip tip off.
- Push your bottle’s nozzle through the self-sealing fill hole and fill.
- Refit the drip tip. Give a new coil a few minutes to soak before your first puff.
- To change the coil, Aspire says: turn the tank upside down, push down the base and unscrew it to release it.
- Push and unscrew to remove the used coil, push and screw in a new one, then push the base back down and screw it in. Aspire notes that you press and turn at the same time.
How Long Does the K1 Plus Last?
The tank lasts; the coil is the part you replace. BVC coils run at low power, so they’re forgiving, but sweet or dark e-liquids and too much voltage shorten them. Change the coil when the flavour dulls.
K1 Plus Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |

| The drip tip won’t come off | That’s the child lock. Push down and turn at the same time. |
| Leaking | The coil or the base isn’t screwed in fully. Remember to press as you turn. |
| Burnt taste | The voltage is above the coil’s range. The 1.6Ω is rated to 4.2V. |
| Weak, cool vapour | The voltage is too low for the 1.8Ω. Turn it up within 4.2–5.0V, or use the 1.6Ω. |
Best E-Liquids for the K1 Plus
Use nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid at 12mg to 18mg. It’s a mouth-to-lung tank, so a high-VG shortfill is too thick for its coils.
