Description
Joyetech BF SS316 Coils for the eGo AIO and Cubis Pro
Joyetech BF SS316 coils are bottom-feeding stainless steel coil heads for Joyetech’s eGo AIO family and the Cubis Pro atomiser, five to a pack. BF stands for bottom feeding: e-liquid enters through the base of the head, which Joyetech designed to cut down on leaks.
Joyetech makes the BF SS316 in three resistances: 0.5Ω, 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω. Our listing also offers a 1.2Ω option. Joyetech doesn’t make a 1.2Ω BF SS316 head, so we’re checking that stock – if you need it, ask us before you order.

What Do Joyetech BF SS316 Coils Fit?
Joyetech lists the BF SS316 for the eGo AIO, eGo AIO Box, eGo AIO ProBox and eGo AIO Anniversary Edition, and its official store adds the Cubis Pro atomiser.
We don’t currently stock a Joyetech device that takes BF heads, so this pack is for existing eGo AIO and Cubis Pro owners. Our Joyetech range shows what we carry.
Will not fit: the eGo AIO 2, which uses Joyetech’s BFC mesh coil. Joyetech lists its BFHN heads (for the eGo AIO ECO) as a separate family and doesn’t say either way whether they swap.

How to Fit and Prime a BF SS316 Coil
- Empty the tank and unscrew the old BF head.
- Prime the new head: a few drops into the top opening and onto the cotton at the bottom inlets.
- Screw it in, refill and wait five minutes.
- On a Joyetech mod with SS316 temperature control, choose that mode; otherwise use power mode within the range above.

How Long Does a BF SS316 Coil Last?
Joyetech gives no figure. Stainless steel heads handle temperature control well, which helps protect the cotton from dry burns, but sweet liquids still coat them. Change the head when the flavour fades.
BF SS316 Coil Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Leaking from the base | Check the head is screwed in fully. The bottom-feed design relies on a good seal. |
| Mod reads the wrong resistance in TC | Lock the resistance at room temperature with a fresh head, as your mod’s manual describes. |
| Burnt taste | Not primed, or above the wattage printed on the head. |
Best E-Liquids for BF SS316 Coils
Joyetech designs the 0.6Ω for mouth inhale and the 0.5Ω for lung inhale; it doesn’t give a VG ratio. Our advice: on the 0.6Ω, 50/50 freebase e-liquids at 6mg to 12mg, or 10mg nic salts at the low end of the range. On the 0.5Ω, higher-VG liquid at 3mg to 6mg.
