Uwell Whirl Coils: 0.6 Ohm Dual Nichrome, 18–22W
These Uwell Whirl coils are the 0.6Ω dual nichrome heads for Uwell’s Whirl tank and its Whirl 20 and Whirl 22 kits. Uwell suggests 18–22W and describes the 0.6Ω as its restricted direct-to-lung coil. There are four in a pack.
It’s a mid-power coil. It isn’t a high-power cloud head, and it isn’t the tight 1.8Ω mouth-to-lung option either. The loose, airy draw sits between a pod and a high-wattage cloud tank.

Which Devices Do Whirl 0.6 Coils Fit?
Uwell lists the 0.6Ω Whirl coil for the Whirl Tank, the Whirl 20 kit and the Whirl 22 kit.
The Whirl 20 is a compact pen-style kit with a 700mAh battery, bottom filling and a 25W ceiling, built around this 0.6Ω coil; it came with two in the box. The Whirl 22 and the standalone Whirl tank take it too, and the Whirl tank can also run the 1.8Ω.
The Whirl 2 tank lists a 0.6Ω dual nichrome coil with the same 18–22W suggestion, but Uwell’s coil page never named it, so bring your Whirl 2 in and we’ll check the fit before you buy.
Will not fit: the Whirl S, Whirl S2, Whirl T1 or Whirl F, which use different coil systems.
How to Fit and Prime Uwell Whirl Coils
- Empty the tank or kit and unscrew the base section.
- Pull the old coil out; it’s a plug-pull head, so there’s no thread.
- Drip two or three drops into the top of the new coil and wet the cotton through the side holes.
- Push it in, reassemble and fill.
- Wait five minutes, then take a few puffs at 18W before turning it up.
How Long Does a Whirl 0.6 Coil Last?
Uwell doesn’t publish a figure. At only 18–22W this coil works far less hard than a 60W-plus cloud coil, and with 50/50 liquid many vapers get two weeks or more from it. Change it once the flavour fades or a harsh, papery taste creeps in.
Whirl Coil Troubleshooting

| Gurgling | The coil has flooded, often after a quick fill. Fire in short bursts and take a few unpowered draws. |
Best E-Liquids for Whirl Coils
