Vaporesso CCELL-GD Ceramic Coils: 0.5 Ohm SS and 0.6 Ohm MTL for the Guardian Tank
Vaporesso CCELL-GD coils are the ceramic coils for Vaporesso’s Guardian tank, the tank on the Target Mini kit, five to a pack. Vaporesso fits the Guardian with a CCELL-GD SS 0.5Ω and puts a CCELL-GD MTL 0.6Ω in the box as a spare; we list both.
CCELL is Vaporesso’s ceramic coil technology, made with its own patented ceramic formula. The GD coils are specific to the Guardian, so don’t confuse them with Vaporesso’s other CCELL coils, which have different bodies.

CCELL-GD Coil Resistances and Wattage
Vaporesso names the two coils but its current site doesn’t print their wattages. The 0.5Ω figure is the one retailers publish; we haven’t found a published range for the 0.6Ω MTL, so we don’t give one.

What Does the CCELL-GD Coil Fit?
The Vaporesso Guardian tank, which ships with a CCELL-GD SS 0.5Ω fitted and a CCELL-GD MTL 0.6Ω spare, and the Target Mini kit, which uses the Guardian tank.
We don’t currently stock the Guardian tank or the Target Mini, so this pack is for existing owners. Our Vaporesso range shows what we carry.
Will not fit: other Vaporesso tanks that take ceramic coils. The gold Vaporesso CCELL coils, the GT CCELL and CCELL2 cores and the EUC ceramic coils all have different bodies, so none of them swaps with a CCELL-GD.
How to Change a CCELL-GD Coil
- Take the Guardian tank off the device and empty it.
- Unscrew the base and remove the old coil.
- Add a few drops of e-liquid to the new coil’s openings.
- Fit the new coil, refit the base and fill the tank.
- Give it about ten minutes to soak before your first puff, and start at the bottom of the range.
How Long Does a CCELL-GD Coil Last?
Vaporesso doesn’t publish a coil life. Sweet, dark e-liquids clog any coil faster, ceramic included. Replace the coil when the flavour dulls or turns bitter.
CCELL-GD Coil Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause and fix |

| Dry or burnt first hit | The coil wasn’t given long enough to soak. Wait longer before firing the next one. |
| Weak vapour on the 0.6Ω | That’s the MTL coil. For more vapour, use the 0.5Ω SS. |
| Harsh on the 0.5Ω | Drop your nicotine strength, or switch to the 0.6Ω MTL. |
| The coil won’t fit | Check it’s a Guardian tank: Vaporesso’s other CCELL coils have different bodies. |
Best E-Liquids for CCELL-GD Coils
With the 0.6Ω MTL, use nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or a 50/50 freebase e-liquid at 12mg to 18mg. With the 0.5Ω SS, a 50/50 or higher-VG freebase at 3mg to 6mg.
