Falcon F1 Coils: HorizonTech 0.2 Ohm, 80W
Falcon F1 coils are HorizonTech’s 0.2Ω heads for its Falcon tank family, rated at 80W. Each pack holds three.
The F1 uses a nichrome coil and a wick of 70% cotton and 30% wood pulp. HorizonTech says the microporous blend lets e-liquid soak through more evenly, and its chart shows the flavour holding steady from the first puff.

Falcon F1 vs F2, F3 and the M-Series
HorizonTech’s Falcon Legend page lists ten coils for the tank family. Here are the three F-series heads, plus the two M-series coils we also stock:

Which Tanks Do Falcon F1 Coils Fit?
The F1 fits the original HorizonTech Falcon, the Falcon King and the Falcon Legend.
We sell two of them. The HorizonTech Falcon King Tank is the upgraded Falcon, with a push-button lid that pops open for filling, and HorizonTech says it takes all Falcon coils. The newer HorizonTech Falcon Legend Tank adds bottom-to-top airflow and its own M8 and M6 coils, and HorizonTech lists it as compatible with every Falcon M and F series coil, the F1 included.

Will not fit: the Falcon II. Despite the name, it uses its own Sector Mesh coils, so F1 heads won’t fit.
How to Fit and Prime Falcon F1 Coils
- Empty the tank and unscrew the base from the glass section.
- Remove the used F1 and wipe the base clean.
- Wet the new coil’s cotton through its side holes. HorizonTech prints its own advice on the box: soak a new coil for 10 minutes for decent flavour.
- Fit the coil, reassemble the tank and fill.
- After the ten-minute soak, start a little under 80W and take a few short puffs.
How Long Does a Falcon F1 Coil Last?
It’s one of the most-asked Falcon questions, and HorizonTech doesn’t answer it with a number. At 80W, a daily vaper typically gets one to two weeks. The wood pulp in the wick helps resist the burnt edge that finishes cotton coils early, but very sweet liquids still coat the coil quickly.
Falcon F1 Troubleshooting

An 80W coil wants high-VG liquid. Choose 70/30 or 80/20 shortfill e-liquids and add a nic shot for about 3mg. Leave nic salts and stronger 10ml e-liquids for low-wattage MTL kits.
