Soft, properly ripe banana carrying a bright mandarin top note. The banana is the body of it — thick and a little creamy — while the mandarin cuts across the top and stops the whole thing sitting heavy on the palate.

Banana is one of the harder flavours to get right in e-liquid. Pushed too far it turns into foam sweets and artificial candy; pulled back too far and it disappears under whatever it is paired with. A 50/50 blend wicks quickly, so it suits tighter pod coils that a 70/30 would struggle to feed. Banana and citrus both carry sweetener, so expect a pod to gum up a little sooner than a plain menthol would. It pays to keep replacement vape pods on hand rather than pushing a tired one.

Can I use this in a sub-ohm tank?

You can, but it is not what it is built for. At 50/50 it is thinner than a 70/30 shortfill, so a high-airflow sub-ohm coil may weep. It is designed for pod and MTL hardware.

Is the mandarin sharp or sweet?
