Description

TECC GT Coils 1.2 Ohm: Push-Fit MTL Heads for the GT Air and Orbis

TECC GT coils are 1.2Ω push-fit atomiser heads from TECC, the UK brand behind The Electronic Cigarette Company, sold here in pairs. TECC says the 1.2Ω resistance is ideal for nic salts, and the thread-less design means you simply pull the old head out and push a new one in.

TECC lists them for its GT Air and Orbis tanks, and on its wider GT listing adds the Specter, Arc GTi and some Eleaf devices. TECC doesn’t publish a wattage, so we don’t invent one.

TECC GT Coil at a Glance

TECC’s own figures are brief; where Eleaf’s GT 1.2Ω head is relevant, it’s labelled as Eleaf’s.

Detail TECC GT
Resistance 1.2Ω
Fit Push-fit, no thread
Style MTL; TECC recommends nic salts
Wattage Not published by TECC. Eleaf rates its own GT 1.2Ω head at 7–14W
White Vape Co recommends: treat it as a low-power MTL head: around 10–12W with the airflow tight and 20mg nic salts.
Eleaf GT 1.2 ohm head with a close-up of its NiCr coil, rated 7-14W
Eleaf’s GT 1.2Ω head, rated 7–14W – TECC lists Eleaf GT devices as fits for its GT heads.

Which Tanks Take TECC GT Coils?

TECC lists the GT 1.2Ω for its GT Air and Orbis tanks. Its combined GT coil listing adds the TECC Specter kit and tank, the TECC Arc GTi, and Eleaf’s GTiO tank, iStick Amnis 2 and iJust AIO.

We don’t currently stock a tank that takes GT heads, so this page is for existing GT Air, Orbis and Specter owners. If you’re unsure which head your TECC tank takes, bring it in and we’ll check.

How to Fit and Prime a TECC GT Coil

  1. Empty the tank and pull the old GT head straight out.
  2. Drip a few drops of liquid into the new head.
  3. Push it in until it seats, reassemble and fill.
  4. Wait five minutes, then vape at low power.

How Long Does a TECC GT Coil Last?

TECC doesn’t give a figure. At low MTL power a head typically lasts one to two weeks.

GT Head Troubleshooting

Are TECC GT and Eleaf GT coils the same?

TECC lists Eleaf GT devices as fits, but neither brand says they’re identical, so we don’t claim it.

What wattage for a TECC GT 1.2 ohm coil?

TECC doesn’t say. Eleaf rates its own GT 1.2Ω head at 7–14W, so 10–12W is a sensible start.
