Description

OXVA ONEO XL Pods: The Larger ONEO Cartridge

The ONEO XL pods are OXVA’s larger version of the ONEO cartridge. The coil, the resistances and the wattages are exactly those of the standard pod; the only difference OXVA lists is size. You get three to a pack, each with the coil built in, and they fit the same two devices as the standard pod: the ONEO and the ONEO PRO.

We stock the XL in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω, the lower two of OXVA’s three resistances, which makes it the pod for ONEO owners who like to open the airflow up for a looser, bigger vape. Here’s how the two compare, what wattage each one wants, and how to avoid the burnt hit that finishes most pods early.

ONEO XL 0.4 vs 0.6 Ohm

These are OXVA’s wattage bands for the two resistances we stock. OXVA’s ONEO chart puts the 0.4Ω at the direct-lung end and the 0.6Ω between that and mouth-to-lung.

Resistance Wattage Our airflow tip Suits
0.4Ω 28–34W Open it towards DTL Low-strength freebase and more vapour
0.6Ω 20–26W Part-open for a restricted lung draw Our pick for 10mg or 20mg nic salts and 50/50 freebase
White Vape Co recommends: for nic salts, fit the 0.6Ω: it gives full flavour without the heat of the 0.4Ω. Keep the 0.4Ω for freebase at low nicotine with the airflow open. If you want the tight MTL of the 0.8Ω, the standard OXVA ONEO pods come in that resistance.

Which Devices Do ONEO XL Pods Fit?

OXVA lists the ONEO cartridge, in either size, for the ONEO and the ONEO PRO.

Fit these to the OXVA ONEO Pod Kit in place of the pod it came with; the ONEO’s side airflow control lets you open it right up for the 0.4Ω. They suit the ONEO PRO as well. If you own both devices, you can move a cartridge between them, but not a top cap – OXVA says those are not interchangeable.

Will not fit: any XLIM, NeXlim or VPRIME device – OXVA doesn’t list the ONEO cartridge for them.

Filling the ONEO XL Pod

  1. Pull the XL cartridge out of your ONEO.
  2. Lift the refill port on its side.
  3. Add e-liquid slowly and keep an eye on the window so you stop just below the top.
  4. Seal the port, dry the cartridge off and push it back in.
  5. On a new pod, give the wick a few minutes to soak before the first puff; OXVA doesn’t state a time.

How Long Does a Pod Last?

A larger pod doesn’t mean a longer-lasting coil – it’s the same coil as the standard ONEO pod, so judge it by flavour, not by how many refills it has had. The 0.4Ω at 28–34W works harder than the 0.6Ω, so expect to change it sooner. Keeping the level above the MIN line on the window is the easiest way to get full life from each one.

ONEO XL Pod Fixes

Problem Likely cause and fix
Hot, harsh hits on the 0.4Ω The nicotine is too strong for a DTL pod, or the wattage is above 34W. Drop both.
Dry hit after a run of puffs Chain vaping outpaces the wick. Pause between puffs, and check the level is above MIN.
Seeping at the refill port The port is only half closed. Press it flush all the way along.
Cap doesn’t sit properly It belongs to the other ONEO model; OXVA says the two devices’ top caps don’t swap.

ONEO XL vs Standard ONEO Pod

ONEO XL Standard ONEO
Coil and wattage Identical Identical
Size Larger Standard
Resistances we list 0.4, 0.6Ω 0.4, 0.6, 0.8Ω
Devices ONEO, ONEO PRO ONEO, ONEO PRO

Choose the standard pod if you want the 0.8Ω for tight MTL vaping.

Best E-Liquids for These Pods

With the 0.6Ω, nic salts at 10mg or 20mg or a 50/50 freebase from our 10ml e-liquids both suit the ONEO. With the 0.4Ω, go for a higher-VG freebase at low strength – a shortfill with a single nic shot is ideal.
