This policy explains how White Vape Co Ltd ("White Vape Co", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.whitevapeco.uk. It covers what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your choices. How we handle personal information more generally is explained in our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. This site also uses similar technologies that store or read information on your device: your browser’s local storage and session storage, the IndexedDB database, and the service worker used for push notifications. The law treats all of these like cookies, so this policy covers all of them, and we call them all "cookies" below.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by services we use, such as Google or our payment provider (third-party cookies).
Your choices
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies that are not strictly necessary. There are three categories:
- Strictly necessary: always on. The site cannot work without these. They keep your basket, sign you in, protect our forms from bots, take card payments securely and remember your cookie choice.
- Analytics: off unless you switch them on. They show us how the site is used, and which website, search or link brought a visitor to us when an order is placed.
- Marketing: off unless you switch them on. This loads our push notification service, so we can offer you deal and new-stock notifications in your browser.
"Accept all" and "Reject all" appear side by side, or you can choose category by category. Analytics and marketing cookies are not set until you accept them, and rejecting them does not stop you shopping with us.
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept analytics, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, change your choices and save. If you switch a category off, we stop using it and delete its cookies from our site.
We remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again. We also ask again if we add a new type of cookie that needs your consent.
Push notifications work separately. Accepting marketing cookies does not sign you up. Your browser asks you, and you only get notifications if you click "Allow". You can turn them off at any time in your browser’s site settings.
Using your browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket, checkout and your account will not work. Deleting all cookies for this site also deletes your cookie choice, so the banner will appear again.

Google Analytics gives us statistics about visitors in general, not about you as a named person. Google does process your IP address and device information to provide the service, and may do so outside the UK. Content from other websites
Our homepage shows Google reviews of our shops. The reviewers’ profile pictures load directly from Google. This sets no cookies, but your browser contacts Google to fetch the images, so Google receives your IP address.
Links to our social media pages or other websites take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
Our app
Our web app at app.whitevapeco.uk keeps you signed in, remembers your basket and your age check, and remembers when you have dismissed a message, using your browser’s local storage. These are strictly necessary for the app to work. The app uses OneSignal to send push notifications, and only if you allow them.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change needs your consent, we will ask you again through the banner.
